How long does the draft take?

I will play your pretend football team game if my condition is met:
I would like you to prepare a meal consisting of at least 3 courses for my consumption. I will chip in for the cost of materials.

I have spoken.

Done. However I will not be able to prepare this meal prior to the 5th. Would you like me to prepare it for you on mayhap the 7th of September?

Thanks to all who participated! This should be a fun season and I hope this will enhance the football experience for you all.

And to those who couldn't make it on Sunday, don't worry! You guys both got a really nice auto-draft, Travis is projected to stomp me the first week = /

My season is on autopilot!

If this works out, I might suggest this strategy to some real NFL teams. ;)

Well Mr. Ho the draft was just on auto-pilot. You will still have to choose which players you want to play on a week-by-week basis. BUT I AM SURE YOU KNEW THAT

What I know and when I remember it are two completely different things...like, I totally remembered the draft at about 4:45. :P

Well Merk, unfortunately for you it looks like you're royal fucked the first week....And I preset my draft picks because I knew I wouldn't be around for the draft....So that's why I got all those good players...=P Lmao

Well what an exciting first week of football!

- Vikings offense looked surprisingly weak but they were able to hold the powerful Saints offense to just 14 points. The Saints' clutch kicker that sent them to the Super Bowl misses two easy field goals.

- Colts had a tough loss against an extremely good Texans team. Maybe now our coaches will be motivated to work on the run defense!

- Lions get screwed out of winning the game by the refs

- Philadelphia's Kevin "Great White Hope" Kolb goes out and Michael "How am I out of jail?" Vick goes in.

- Redskins trump the Cowboys in what was probably the most exciting game of the week! Boy that guy who got the holding penalty at the end that cost them the game is going to get his shit beat in practice this week for sure.

Lots of sloppy performances all around from all the teams, but hey, football is back and my Sundays are booked for the next 5 months!

Fantasy has gone well too and I hope the new guys are sort of understanding how it all works. Travis has locked in a victory against me while the Ho/Frisbez and SDP/ipwnzj00all game rests on tonight's games. None of these games are a lock so I hope you're praying for your player to do well tonight!

I had the thought that I should run with my auto-draft team and not touch it at all. It'd be like a quick pick lottery ticket!

That's a legitimate strategy, right?
