I see it like this, if it's faulty, they'll replace it. And some of us do want all in ones.

Oh yeah, Virtual Boy>DS. Sorry, but a true Wario game beats ports, non innovative use of its gimmick screen, and mediocre 3rd party support.

Actually, the US release of the PSP is identical to the current-gen modified Japanese version, Everything has been fixed, Ill grab the official retailer press release from work and scan it.

besides, if your that worried about the launch versions fucking up, pay the 10 bucks for the one year warranty from whatever game store you get it from, wait 11 months, "accidentally" short out the mobo = free system!

Well, In 2 1/2 hours i gotta open my EB games up to a horde of crazed fans.

Wish me luck!

BTW...

GET LUMINUS....ITS A PUZZLE MUSIC GAME OMG *seizure

I love my PSP, and I feel sorry for anyone whos not getting one. And I feel really sorry for people who bought a DS instead. *snickers*

anyways, I can't wait til I get rich, so I can Buy Ac!d. That game looks sweet.

*runs off to play PSP*

The concept for Metal Gear Ac!d looks, well, different. Has anyone heard about it? Last I read, it used a card game like battle system. For example, you enter an area, and are given a hand of cards, each with a certain action on it, and those are the only actions you can use during that area.

From what I gather, its a turn based action game that uses cards for EVERYTHING (even moving). It looks like it could be a really good time. Thats really about all I know.

A lot of people over on Shacknews have been saying they have anywhere from 1 to as many as 7 dead pixels on their PSP. That would suck ass.

/waits to buy a PSP for a very, very long time.

Anything with an LCD screen can have dead pixels, regardless of how long you wait to buy one. People were complaining about that with the DS too. If that's all that's holding you back, I wouldn't worry about it.

my PSP has 0 dead pixels :D YAY! anyways, this thing is amazing, the graphics are insnae for a handheld, and probably better than PS2 (no joke). Was definately worth getting.

I love mine! I got Untold Legends (Hack n' Slash RPG, made by the same people as Champions of Norrath and stuff, and it is nearly the exact same thing) and Wipeout Pure. They are gorgeous. It came with Spiderman 2 on minidisc too, and the quality is really nice. No dead pixels, and if there are, you just take it back and get another one. Why the hell are people worried? I got a 2 year warranty with mine as part of the bundle deal that I got, so Sony's "track record" is no big deal now.

Graphics are amazing. Does anybody know how to transer videos/pictures/music onto it? Do I need to just use a USB cord or what? Haven't tinkered around with it yet.....

WOW! I was playing Metal Gear Acid today at work...THAT GAME IS ROXORS. If I had 250+ to blow on something to play while taking a crap, this would be it.

BTW:The PSP I was playing had 2 dead pixels, he is getting a replacement tomorrow.

The PSP itself doesn't have any region locking, it is up to the developers to decide if they want region codes for their specfic games.
