Leavin for California

Yup, Going to be gone from August 23 (today)-28. Anyone ever been there? I've never been. If anyone has been there, please share of your experience

Where in California? It's a mighty big state. I've been to San Francisco several times; I like it!

Los Angeles....but we'll probably travel around the area....we're just staying with one of Mike's friends, so staying in LA is free for us.

Been there? Psh. I lived there for 17 years of my life. =)
I lived in Northern California. However, I've been to SoCal several times. If you can, take a trip to Santa Monica (I don't know how far that would be from where you're staying), but I love that place. Santa Monica Pier is nice. Since you're going in August, it wouldn't be bad (the last time I went there was in March 2004). There's a nice shopping place around the pier/beach... that is if you like looking around and shopping. =)
Just go around as much as you can in your area. I miss California. Take lots of pictures! =D

I've been out to San Diego. It was a lot of fun from what I remember, which isn't very much since it was almost 10 years ago. I want to go back sometime.

I went to San Francisco and did stuff there over the summer. I also posted a lot of messages on the world wide netweb during that vacation as well.

I've been to California twice... Once we were around the San Francisco area, and the other time, we were around Los Angeles.
*shrug* I had a really good time, personally. I loved it out there... We went during the spring time [to San Francisco], so it was a bit chilly for my tastes...but that's because it's right off the bay? n_x
I really enjoyed L.A., though. It felt really homey to me, for some reason. =D

I lived in Oakland for a while. Haven't traveled much outside of that area though. Maybe you can play some Supernova there? Lucky. >:[

Nah, I haven't played any SuperNOVA yet while I've been here. I just got back from a mall here in LA that had ITG2, but it was like smack dab in the middle of the mall for everyone to see. I thought that was wicked awesome. Holy shit though, the ITG players out here are freakin amazing! Like there is hardly a record under 98 percent on the machine.
I also heard from a local that there's a machine somewhere around here that got hacked into, and there's like 1500 songs on it. I really want to see it!
I love LA so far, today I went to the Los Angeles Zoo, and that was really fun
Tomorrow I'm going to be going to Catalina. I miss all you guys! I'll see the Bloomy crew pretty soon
I also heard from a local that there's a machine somewhere around here that got hacked into, and there's like 1500 songs on it. I really want to see it!
