Video Games Live

Video Games Live came to town this past Friday and Saturday for Indy's first ever video-game themed concert (sans those held in Ho's basement on Karaoke Revolution).
Did anyone else make it to the show? I was impressed; between the 'video game pianist' (who we all know as the mario-piano guy from some internet video a few years ago) jamming out some of the most beautiful FF and Mario tracks I've ever heard, and the debated selection of not-so-popular-yet-incredible-soundtrack games, I was really impressed.
Personal Side notes:
- WoW footage from the expansion was shown, but even more impressive was the music from it.. by far the most entertaining piece played (and in a close 2nd was MGS).
- A ferarri laptop was given away to a girl who will never use it simply because she played Frogger. Heh.
- Guitar Hero II was on demo outside of the concert.
- There was a contest for GHII, and if I won (i did score 100% afterall..) they'll send me a Red Octane skateboard with all of the game's designers sigs on it. Sweet. I'll post in this thread if I hear anything via e-mail over the next few days.
