I know you probably mean movies on DVD, but if you get a chance to go to the theater you should see 'Scanner Darkly' and 'The Descent'. Both awesomely good.

The only movie I've watched at home recently is Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle, and for some reason I thought it was hilarious.

There was a movie that just came out on Tuesday, it was an independent film that I bought tuesday and took a risk at... called Brick. And it was pretty good.

you know i wasn't that impressed with a scanner darkly. it was a poor representation of the book in movie form in my opinion. i also came into the movie expecting a movie that was going to be all crazy and drug-induced but instead it was more like a 3rd person view of a train wreak in slow motion. also i was upset they never enlightened us as to what substance d does in the mind to make it so amazing.

the passages from the book were awesome though.

Yup came out Tuesday...I was wanting to see it but it didn't play in Indiana....they played it a Ryder Film Series in Bloomington 3 weeks ago but I didn't know about it till it was to late. I really liked it, it was well worth the 20$. ^_^

SUICIDE!
SUICIDE!
SUICIDE!

Suicide is a symptom of taking antidepressants, if you've lost a loved who has taken medication you can join a civil class action now!

Hmm, if you're really desperate, lemme pull out my list of personal favorites.

Weird:
Dark City
Donnie Darko
The Game
Legend

Action/Adventure/Horror/Cheese (I won't say which is which):
Frailty
The Running Man
Total Recall
Timecop
Nick of Time

Comedy:
My Cousin Vinny
Ruthless People
Ghost

Most of these movies are pretty old, so YMMV.

This is by no means a complete list, I'm just too lazy to write out the comprehensive version. If you watch a couple of these and like them, I'll post others. (I figure the chances of that happening are microscopically tiny, so I'm safe. ;))
