No indeed he wasn't, but he did have powers, because he was a mutant just like the X-men.
But not just any normal mutant he was a rare special omnimutant, meaning he had several special ablities instead of 1 or 2 like most mutants.
The whole bread and fishes thing? That's just simple Multiplicity, just like Multiple Man Jamie Maddox.
But you say well he healed the blind and leppars surely that must be the power of God, pfft hardly. He had healing powers sane as Xian
But Fagulous you ask, "He came back from the dead how could he not be the son of God?"

Just what freaking X-man hasn't come back from the dead? Well okay there was a couple but they usually come back in a couple of years, or months or in the case of Wolverine a couple of minutes.
He had several other powers as well but pfft, I can't remember the name of every single supporting mutant, nobody cares about them anyway.
