I think this is a topic that has been long needed. It's really just probably going to be a flame war about who has a better something, but I'm going to try this out.

I've played piano since I was in second grade and I majored in piano performance as an undergraduate. I also play drums a bit but I'm not very good.

Piano (12 years), guitar (3 years), shakuhachi (2 years), Di-Zi (1 year), trumpet (8 years), french horn (4 years), violin (3 years (haven't played for 6)), various ethnic things ranging from hand marimba to jaw harm for years.

I play(ed) trumpet for 7 years.

I DJ. Mostly Trance and Hip-Hop (not in the same set) with a little house thrown in for good measure.

Also into turntablism, but my decks aren't so hot, so it kinda limits what I can do.

Annnnd I played saxaphone for two (2) years, and didn't like it. I wanted to play drums, but I wasn't allowed. Lame.

Thanks. We've actually got some new songs in the works, and we're doing a cover of 'creep' by Radiohead.
Our newest song is somewhat reminiscent of Tool. A departure from our usual stuff, but it was refreshing.

aside from being retarded, piano for 6 years, guitar 3 (picking up again whenever i pick up a guitar and have time ), drums 5 and voice for 3 years

currently i do snare rudaments every once in a while out of boredem...no time to play music

I play the violin/fiddle...have done so for about 7 years. ^_^ It's a family heirloom...if I stop playing it, I'm sure someone will haunt me.

I've been playing drums since I was 6 years old, so it's kind of a habit now. I come home from school and just play for about an hour or so to get all of the beats out of me that i think of in study hall.

I just picked up guitar a tad bit, and I love playing keyboard becuase i can make some trance stuff up and have my ex girlfriend sing and then record.

my bands myspace is coming up in a few days because we are actually recording music at my friends house.
We play stuff like the all american rejects, so it's all good, i guess. It depends on who you are.
