I'd be glad to finally get out of Bloomington but I vaguely recall hearing not good things about Muncie.
I would suspect that most comprehensive policies would cover this. That's generally purchased separately from liability or collision coverage, but I know State Farm offers it (as to most full-line insurance providers). You could consult with your agent to verify that this particular incident would be covered, however.Merk wrote:I had a dream last night that I was camping out in a cabin in the woods and I parked my car outside of said cabin.
Over night (in the dream) my car was attacked by a bear, the tires were eaten off, the paint was scratched, and there were huge dings all over the vehicle. I woke up this morning and all I could think about is if State Farm insurance covers this sort of calamity. Does anyone know if any kind of insurance would protect against animal attack or do I have to buy that separately?
Um, quite a bit has changed on the campus since you've attended.Ho wrote:I spent 4 years at BSU and came out just fine. I don't think Muncie hasMerk wrote:Can anyone give me the run down on Muncie? I'm sure that's true. I'm also sure that what's important to you and what was important to me are different and also different from what's important to Merk. In addition, I'm sure my opinion of what's important would have changed in the past 14 years since I've been there whether the campus did or not.Amp Divorax wrote:Um, quite a bit has changed on the campus since you've attended.
Indeed, a very true statement. I will forewarn Merk that in terms of gaming, there really isn't any community aside from Ball State's gaming lab. (Which mostly focused on FPS and MMO games for the PC this past school year.)Ho wrote:I'm sure that's true. I guess the bottom line is that BSU did alright by me and I think that Merk will do fine if he has the right attitude about it. There's not really much sense in comparing BSU to IU or Muncie to Bloomington.
Just stay close to campus and you should be ok.Merk wrote:Will I get shot by some white trash motherfucker if I live in Muncie? I guess Brian made it through okay but this is the 2010s and the scornful white trash population is at an all time high.
Proof that they will take anyone. I sent an e-mail to the CS department admissions person last week and they have not replied. I have no idea how to turn in my GRE scores and letters of recommendation.Attention prospective student: the Graduate School at Ball State University has evaluated your official transcripts and determined that you meet our minimum admission standards. Therefore, we have notified your major department that an admission decision can be made. Please keep in mind that departments may have higher admission requirements than the Graduate School, and that the department makes the final admission decision. In addition, each department has its own timeframe to consider students for admission, and this may take from a few days to several weeks. If you are admitted, you will receive a letter of admission from the Graduate School including your username and password (if you will be an on-campus student) and instructions on how to register for classes. If you will be an off-campus student, your username and password will be sent to you by the School of Extended Education.
Thank you for your interest in Ball State University!
