Well yeah it didn't go anywhere because there was already this site and Facebook's discussion board set up is kinda goofy. I'm just saying if Facebook was invented when everyone started playing, I don't think this particular website would have ever been created and Merk would not have SO MANY GOT DAYM POSTS.

We've occasionally used Facebook to plan little get-togethers that were generally not music game related but they weren't like IndyDDR exclusive or anything. I have no idea how a Ventrilo channel would even work or what it would accomplish that this message board couldn't. I imagine it would just be everyone trying to troll each other with Potter providing some lovely Industrial Dance Music as background noise.


You see, the magic here is once you've posted on a message board for a long ass time you inevitably get to know your fellow posters on a more personal level. This especially is the case for a real local niche website like this. Despite its flaws IndyDDR is really good at what it set out to do and it's the only site I know of with an active poster-base for music games in Indiana.

I mean really what other states have a website for music games? Kentucky's the only other one I know of and they're a pretty tight-knit group too.

Guys I'm fucking bored and I'm on a 56k up here in Ft. Wayne and really the only thing I can do is go on message boards.

make sure you go to www.indyddr.com and not just indyddr.com

after 36 years they still can't be bothered to make a simple redirect to fix that problem
