I don't know, I just soloed Diablo and beat him first try and now I'm in Inferno. How's babymode, baby?

Probably. Act 1 isn't hard so far and I still have baby gear. I will probably be able to farm A1 of Inferno pretty well but A2 will be a no go for awhile until I get my resistances higher.

Got about 13k dps with 1hd + shield, need to get a better shield now since it was just one I had laying around. Still got around 46k hp which is plenty, but need armor/resistances now for mitigation which is more important than HP. Got like 3800 armor and 100 of all resists, and 50% dodge. Man I love crunching numberrrrrs and looking at gear options on the auction house.

edit: Just breezed through A1 Inferno solo in like 3 hours or so. Getting 5 stacks of Nephalem Valor is easy and it gives a 75% magic/gold find bonus, so all bosses (which are way way way easier than champ packs) drop like 2 yellows and 3-5 blues. Killed Butcher very easily and he drops good stuff so I might farm him a bit. I ventured out a bit into Act 2 and it didn't hurt toooooo bad but the little poison wasps that shoot out will basically kill you if you 3 touch you.

Riot you lost the race, don't feel bad! Farming in this game sucks barrs so I'm in no rush to dick around in Inferno. The end game is more or less playing the auction house as there is no PvP - I'd rather let the poopsockers put their stuff up for sale instead of wasting hours upon hours making runs. I could farm Meph for hours in D2 but this game's itemization just isn't exciting enough to create that proverbial "carrot on a stick." Who the fuck wants to spend an afternoon banging your head against champ packs so you can end up with a shitty level 52 rare at the end of the day?

Not to mention the lack of fun gimmicky builds. I still stand by my point that you are pigeonholed to play one way in Inferno which goes against everything Blizzard said this game was going to be and what we had hoped for.

Act 1 is super easy. I have 21k DPS now but my HP is down to like 33k or something. My armor is 4500 so that mitigates like 60% damage and my resistances are higher so that offsets the life loss, and my attack speed is 2.3 swing per second (lots of +% attack speed) with sword and board. Saving up now for a second baller weapon for dual wield. Probably gonna experiment with different builds and try kiting and stuff for Act 2. Killed Maghda and killed all the weird transformed palace guards and escaped into the sewers... been skipping the bad packs of champions with molten/arcane sentry/shielding but can kite other stuff okay. Most things will 2 shot you.

Still playing catch-up here. Just finished nightmare and will start hell sometime soon. Honestly, I just want some level 60 to just steamroll it with me so I can get to inferno. All nightmare loot is crap, and all hell act 1-3 will be crap. I want to get to the endgame asap.

I can't imagine rerolling at this point and doing normal and nightmare again. Blah. As a single player game this is toooo boring.

Skipped Hell Act 1 and 2. Act 3 is way more fun/challenging. Currently level 55, but haven't found a build I really like yet.
