[name removed]
With Chorizo Bacon Chili!!!!!!
Honorable mention goes to MIKE BLANDFORD for his OMG Zerg Rush Vegetarian Chili.
We hope the competition next year is RED HOT!!!
Congrats to you both!"
Well done Mike, you nerd.

Mike's chili should have won for its name alone.

Holy shit they literally need to tear down the Wikipedia entry for "Hipster" and just replace it with this picture.
* Shitty beer
* Token minorities
* Unshaven jowls
* Unwashed hair
* People doing something wacky/artsy/retro
* Obligatory horn-rimmed glasses
* Obviously there's no sound in pictures but there is no way some indie music could not be heard somewhere in this scene
Potter, I don't mean to be a hater and I honestly wish I had your life, but God. Fucking. Damn.

odd you say that, as about 90% of people in that picture are thriving electronic musicians, making a decent living. Not to mention MC Zulu, who is huge. The film was for an electronic track, and the artist we worked with invited a bunch of well known names in the local scene, seen in picture. The track that was playing was some phat electro beetz, no indie was heard that night, and pretty sure nobody there fancies it either. The beer was very shitty, as oldstyle were the only company that agreed to donate an assload of free beer for the shoot. Sounds like you need to get out more (especially after seeing you peg a picture with more than one ethnicity in it as "token minorities") and either stop passively judging people or at least learn some background before you do!

Banter made me lol. In Merk's defense, you did just say, "the artist we worked with invited a bunch of well known names in the local scene." That sounds pretty hipster.
Try an image search for "Hipster party." The resemblance is less than subtle.
Merk is a hater though. For real. I'm down with the underground.

Believe it or not, the term "scene" has been around ~30 years prior to hipsters, as has bright clothing
