Oh my God the Somethingawful forums went down for maintenance around noonish and I've had a hell of a time killing time at work.
This is seriously awful.

Aw Amp it's not that bad, they let us out of our cages once a day.

You at the Fort Wayne campus or the other one?

The other middle of the nowhere one. TUFW was shut down last year actually.

And not a single fuck was given that day.

LOL! Well, since there are apparently several of us in the area now we may have to do a regular trip to do some arrow smashing and mine dodging.

You mean people from this site might actually be getting together to play music games? So strange. That would actually be kinda cool. I've been planning to visit Anderson a few times during school, but I knew most people here weren't exactly in love with ITG.

Yea pretty sure the campus there was super small when it even existed. I had never heard of it until I got to school.

I know most people dodge Anderson as the life difficulty set to 5 instead of the standard 4. (Kind of sad since it is a R21 cabinet.)
Then again, this is why cobalt flux exists.

Who cares about life difficulty when I can just caress the pad with my finger and it will give me all fantastics?
Seriously though I played there twice last year and the pads were super nice.
Anderson is unfortunately a little too far for me to get there more than probably 2-3 times a month. I talked to Tyler about seeing if we can hack it, but I don't know if he's planning on playing even as much as I am. I like the default theme alright, I just want some more speeeed mods.

I thought you were talking about the actual town having a life difficulty at first and I LOL'd

Yeah Anderson is pretty hard to pass [through].
But for seriously the machine has been life dif 4 for ages; Amp is a dinosaur and hasn't played there in a while. Also there are already additional speed mods, and the manager will not allow a hack. P1 down arrow is slightly hypersensitive causing occasional wayoffs and pad mines.
Carmel Laserflash machine sucks, pads suck, screen was extremely dark (probz dying) last time I was there.
Fishers Pinheads machine sucks, pads suck, sucky R1, some hacked songs play fast.
Fort Wayne Putt Putt machine sucks, pads suck, otherwise it's sweet.
Evansville Two Bit Bandit machine sucks, wide screen monitor is unacceptable, 4:3 fa life!
Noblesville Stardust machine is flawless.

Wait, they changed it back down to 4? (I'm guessing this happened sometime after I went there with Cbav.)
Also, Dave101 is indeed right when it comes to me being a Dinosaur! (What are these roll notes people are talking about?!?!?)

DDR Extreme was pretty much the high point in my life. Everything after that was downhill.

Agreed. But that was really just a different time in my life. ITG wasn't out yet so DDR was still the game to play, Konami still gave a shit, stepcharts weren't all bar-rape fests, and everyone and their mother wasn't obscenely good at the game.
Shit was so simple back then - school during the week, friends on the weekend, DDR on Sunday.
