Was rather swell, was the best man in a wedding, danced with a cute girl, got her number, got shot down by said girl, snuck into a water park, and got my attic to be awesome.
Since that picture, I added an Xbox, Gamecube, Ps2, and another TV up there.
Overall, fun weekend.
Oh yea, and I got pulled over for having expired plates.

Anyway so, question.
Has anyone had any adverse health problems from playing DDR? I think I've developed weak knee joints from all the high impact exercising I've done with DDR. Now that I've returned to my fatty roots I find it much harder to play DDR without developing a fucking shin splint or risk really messing up my knees.
Prior to becoming a fatty these problems existed as well and I definitely recall having knee problems after a day of DDR/ITG.
Has anyone else fucked something up through DDR?

You know what else completely destroys dating potential?
Getting married.
Anyway, question still stands, has anyone else fucked themselves up playing a dancing game?

Severe dehydration when I was young and stupid....
I had all I could drink soda for a week... but they charged for water.... :/
I couldn't move for about a week and a half/two weeks after the trip... it was horrible.

I have sprained my wrists and torn open my knees playing Pump. Also, nearly broke my back. Does that count?

I don't know did you get those injuries doing a freestyle? I have heard that there may have been at one time or another a message that pops up every time you play a dancing game that wild motions during play may cause injury.
I'm talking long term, arthritis at 35, abuse here!

I knew I should have taken that long-term disability insurance.

I'm 35. My knees suck, but I don't know how DDR-related that is. They pop all the time and ache sometimes, but nothing as bad as arthritis.
I've injured myself pretty bad a few times over the years, but I seem to always heal eventually. Though one really bad sprain did take (literally) years before it didn't bother me at all. A twinge would creep up every once in awhile. After the initial injury period, it was every few days, then weeks, then months. Finally, after 2-3 years I noted that it hadn't bothered me for awhile.
