EDIT: I can agree with that, Ho. Another point I wanted to make was that shirts are cool and all, but tonight is only the second meeting of the group. The second. Ever.
If someone wants to design a logo, cool! If someone wants to design a shirt, wait a bit. I just think that we might want to wait a bit before we get shirts, and a team theme song, and a team newschannel. We had a lot of fun at that first meeting, but we should probably wait to see if this sticks before we go at it.
I'm not saying it won't, though.

Not this week for me...maybe next week.
Now that I'm done with my play I could go, but I'm also getting ready to go to Bowlmani Festival later this week, so I wasn't planning on any outings this week to save time/money to get packed and get things done before I'm gone for 4 days.
---
As for the logo, I'm kind of protective about the ways in which it is used. A lot of effort has gone in over the years to create and develop the IndyDDR brand into something that I hope has some meaning or value to people, and I don't want just anyone to use it for any careless purpose.
My preference is for it to only be associated with things that are inclusive of the entire IndyDDR community. Indy Groove appears to me to be creating a sub-community--or perhaps even a standalone community of its own. In either case, I support your efforts, but I'm unsure of the value of attempting to place it under an IndyDDR "umbrella" by including the logo on a shirt.
I also have pretty strict requirements about the way in which the logo is reproduced. I'm picky about sizing/proportion and color selection. I realize that this may be a bit hardcore for an informal community, but having worked as a commercial graphic designer, I tend to be rather sensitive to distortion/alteration of designs.
I invite further discussion, but at this time I think I'd prefer that your designs stand alone on a shirt and not include the IndyDDR brand/logo.

WOOT i get first dibs as commenting on tonights meeting. As it was my first meeting with Indy DDR folk, youll get to see it from the newbie prospective. Upon arriving and purchasing my tokens i was immediately saluted with a chip "Hey!" From a friend i still haven't caught the name of but we both played Sunday and it was kewl

. Everyone was friendly and a little awkward at first but once everyone got together it was like a cult, chatting and playing, high fives and grotesque shrikes of fright at horrifieng scores. I was happily surprised to note the only person hard on me was myself. Everyone seemed to have a "Go ahead and just do it" Attitude which made things alot easier. I know my skills where at their peak today from all the encouragement. I actually finished "End of the century" On standard x2 which i couldn't accomplish at home when i was rested and here i beat it as my last song of the night.
Anyway All in all I thought it was kewl, people where nice, and there was a wide aray of player stylez. From the "I wanna play super fast." To the "Freestylein fun."IT was all in all a good night.

I would actually have to agree with what Ho said in this, even though most, (okay, basically all) of the people that attend this are from the Indyddr.com forums, we are somewhat independent of the site, and basically use it as a means of communication. Thus, I do believe that we should truly use an Independent logo. Atleast for now, as Ho said.
Also to Jeff Jeff and White Dragon:
If the photos and/or videos get posted please post here saying so, I would like to see them.
