Nevertheless it was still a pointless part that just added to the jumble of crap going on. He needed to spend more time on the hunting of the jedi, as they sad a few times the jedi were "hunted" down, not all shot at once.

well, that was only a montage of the more known jedi. i'm certain they get hunted down, but it happens after the movie, between III and IV, unfortunately.

Edit: did anyone else notice Luminara Unduli didn't get killed in montage or anything? i wonder if she's dead or not.

She might have been killed in episode two, in the battle arena, I can't say I actually remember her on Episode 3.

did you even watch clone wars, blaze? she practially owns a few episodes.

she's in ep3 for a splitsecond, on Kashyyyk directing some wookiees and clonetroops around, and that's it.

Sorry if I'm about to say whats already been said, but I just saw it Wensday with a friend, and she owes me big now.

Gah, Granted mellowdrama, wooden acting, and flashy battles to make up for the weak story is what everyone expects from a Star Wars movie, but they didn't get the mix right on this one.

I spent most of the movie just being bored, and I had no problem getting up to use the restroom the 3 times that I did during the movie(Damn 40 oz soda and cold ass theater) I actually dozed off a couple times only to be woken up by explosions.

In my opinion it did a marginal job of tieing everything together. Sure everything looked cool, but that can't keep me entertained forever.

Honestly I could have just stayed home and just watched Power Rangers, at least that only lasts 30 minutes.

Get bent. Honestly someone who thinks that Power rangers has a better story should have their dick chopped off.

At least Yoda and Obi wan don't have giant robots that mix together in a giant metal orgy.

If you think this movie was boring, then I'm assuming you're not a star wars fan to begin with.
If you're not a star wars fan to begin with, it's not likely you'd have any interest in this movie, regardless of good/bad it turned out.
If you think power rangers are better than this movie, then....

...then there's nothing more I can say.

I didn't say power rangers was better either just more like equivilant.

And Sin true I'm not the huge star wars fan and my opinion is baised, just like yours, I thought 1 and 2 were okay and the originals far superiour, but ugh 3 just didn't appeal to me.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not condemning your opinion. Everyone has a right to their own. At least, so long as you've seen the rest of the series.
Personally, I liked this one better than than 1 'n 2. The originals, of course, are still the best though.

Maybe my expectations for it were too high, when so many people went on about how much better it was, anyway I felt the wookies were sorely under-represented I mean they had what, like 3 minutes of screentime?

*Shrugs* Everyone has their own opinions. I have a friend that won't watch Star Wars OR Lord of the Rings because they're too "looserish."

If anything, I felt it shoud have been longer. There were a lot of things going on in this one, and one of the drawbacks I saw is that it felt rushed. Certain things that were really important to the story line didn't get nearly enough screen time, or nearly enough rising action. In short, some of the most dramatic points in this storyline lost a lot of their dramatic energy.
