believe it or not, I have seen a triple pop before... and it about made me cry.

anyways men vs women....

one of my ex-girlfriends was a psycho feminist (big surprise it didn't work out :D) but anyways, she said that women do not have the same opportunity as men in factories. She said that they hire strong men above a woman who may be weaker than them.

Personally I think this is fair, they are not judging based on the gender, but on their abilities (the way it should be.) do yall think it's good to hire a woman over a man when the man clearly has more strength (and we're assuming this is a physical job, that requires strength)

It's a job, and it has to be done. An employer has to pick the people who are the most able to do the job, and to do it efficiently.
I work in a factory, and we have plenty of women workers. Some of them work just as well as the men, but it really just comes down to the individual...some men are terrible workers as well.
I believe that, with any job, you should be hired on your skill level, and what you can do...not what gender you are, or what color your skin is.

I agree completely and actually I wrote a paper over the summer (for class, I didn't do this for fun) about a very similar topic. But it was mostly on the topic of affirmative action. I don't think it's fair that women have an advantage over men when applying to colleges (same for minorities) If two with identical appications one male one female, they will pick the female's application over due to affirmative action... where is the justice?

All I have to say is that she'll think everything is not fair b/c she's a feminist. I HATE feminists, and I'm a freakin' girl!!! They're just finding new ways to bitch about stuff that doesn't matter. Ugh.

Like how they were SO offended that meteorologists gave hurricanes female names? That pissed me off...I mean, who the hell cares? 90% of boats, planes and other vehicles of the sort have female names too.
The whole thing just gets blown out of proportion...not just femenists, but racial activists as well.

What does 'popping one's collar' signify? Are you a hardcore gangster? Are you super fly? . . . are you a pimp? I don't get it. ;_; Its a freakin' collar and usually if it is upright then you're just too lazy to fold it down neatly.

Also, our Monte Carlo is a girl because she's sleek and sweet ( bitchy and tempermental ).

They changed the system to include male names in 1979. If women are still pissed off about it, they have bigger issues than hurricanes...

It's just a wierd thing that some people do, like wearing girl pants or shirts that are way too small for them. Some people do it because they look hot doing it (like the foreign exchange student in my lunch, Than knows whats up!), or some people do it just because they wish they could look hot (Read: all the people that think owning two $50.00 polos makes them hot).
