If you take an active role in your health, and say, browse WebMD about your problem before going to your doctor, you'll find that he tells you the exact same things you already found out; in essence, what are you paying for? You go there, wait 10-20 minutes while he looks it up (probably using the same site you did) just for him to tell you what you already knew, amd to take Tylenol, and then get charged $300.

usually I would call complete bullshit on that, as they go to medical school for years etc. but I was pretty fucking blown away when my family doctor couldn't recognize the symptoms of a migraine. I mean my god. I diagnosed myself correctly when he couldn't. shiny thing in vision before intense headache starts, normal pain meds do nothing, intense disabling pain, I told him these symptoms 2 visits in a row and he was at a complete loss. I looked it up myself, realized it in 2 seconds, classic migraine with aura. figured out (most) of my triggers, and thankfully haven't had a migraine in about a year.

Maybe they dont learn about migranes in med school :wink:

considering the commonality of them, that would be like not learning about headaches or the flu.

You're lucky. I have debilitating migraines every few months. I'm on Replax for when the vision starts to go bad, but otherwise I'm not sure of my triggers. People say stress and lack of sleep, but one time I ate a Jimmy John's sandwich and that was that. It runs in my family. Those of you who don't have them, thank your lucky stars. Also if you get headaches and think you know how it feels, you're wrong. I'm sure Potter will agree.

no kidding, they're not even comparable. I've actually had people try to insult me for going home from school for "just having a headache"

Same. My co-workers made fun of me. But my one supervisor knew exactly what I meant.

That number includes "guest" users, aka things hitting the front page of the forums that don't have accounts, so it's likely that googlebot was indexing the page (which often shows up several users due to the way it works) as at the same time as a bunch of spambots were atteming to create accounts or something like that.
A normality test:
+++ATH
If you are no longer connected to the internet, you need to apply more wax to your modem: it'll make it go faster.
If you find this funny, you're a nerd.
If neither of the above apply, you are normal. Congratulations.

If you think it's really Jenna, you've not been around long enough.
