Coming from someone who has experience as a technician, do not buy a Jetta. Volkswagens are some of the most unreliable cars on the road. Get a Honda or a Subaru. If I were you, I'd get the Isuzu Vehicross next to it.
People that don't modify their cars suck. I jest.. Heh. However, the treehuging pieces of shit that hate modifed cars can burn in hell. It's kind of a career for some of us. When you make a "green" car with the power, sound, and feel of a real car, tell me. Until then, suck a dick.

Personally, I prefer muscle cars over imports anyway. Not for technical reasons or superiority quibles...Fuck, I just like 'em.
Actually... the person Potter was talking about, considering the powerslides, wanted it to do stupid ricer shit in. So yeah, what I said applied :p
And Jettas are just plain trash. I've heard nothing but bad things about them.

I've got nothing against modified cars, it's just not really my cup of tea at the moment. I do have a thing against ricers from time to time...but that's because I think a good number of them are awful looking, and the people driving them are complete assholes.
Some of them crack me up though...especially the cars that shouldn't be modified...that wind up with giant wings and hundreds of performance stickers and shit. And of course, are still slow as fuck.
If I were to modify my car, I'd probably tweak the engine. I'd rather have it be fast, and look normal...than the other way around.
Right now I've got a '99 Volvo C70 turbo. Everything's stock but the radio at the moment.

If the Volvo is Manual and you ever want to sell it.
We actually built up an older Volvo 850 Turbo IC for a customer while I was apprenticing at Sound Performance in Chicago.

Next time you come down to Louisville, Jason and I will put in some speed holes, cover the entire body in NOS stickers, and place a fart cannon exaust on it. You'll have like a million horsepower.

It's what people do to survive there. It's not as easy as going to a grocery store and getting goat meat.

they might be reffering to your friend poking the dead goat in the butt with a stick as being sick. I just found your freind being all excited about an everyday goat killing to be amusing at first then he just started getting annoying.

Yeah, but still. Some of us are slightly messed up in the head. It amuses us.
Plus, Kalderetang Kambing (goat stew) is absolutely amazing.
