But GIS always comes up with really totally unrelated funny stuff whenever I try to search for a picture for the week and it's one of those private joys that gives me a chuckle.

For example: Image

That popped up when searching for "DDR Healing Vision"

True that. But you have a good link now. Care to update the OP?

kk I played some catch-up over at Chad's and did the following:

Silent Hill 3rd Christmas Mix - 5 greats
Healing Vision - 33 greats yes I know I am awful at this song thank you
Cooked some chicken wings
Went to Costco
Slept in a bed
Talked about hypotheticals
Played lots and lots of Drummania

I will update the OP! What are we doing this week?!

2 on 3rd christmas mix (with a lot of dropped freezes)
Something like 18 on HV

I'll probably start playing again but not for money.

I suppose that would be relevant since DST is coming up here this weekend.

Thank God we're not playing ITG otherwise we'd be doing Hand Of Time and fuck THAT song.

I know just the dumb song.

Ska a go go - Standard. Lame as it gets. I don't think they took it out of SuperNova.

I mean really the whole chart is dumb and it was off as fuck in Extreme and I can only assume it's even worse in Supernova. I think it was the last 9 I ever AA'd on Extreme because I avoided it like the plague. Do you have any suggestions that deal with time, clocks, or daylight savings?

Ah, that's why I stopped participating in the contest. Almost forgot.

Unfortunately all of the songs in Supernova are in Supernova. Everything is out of sync, has all purple notes, there aren't any good songs left from previous mixes, the interface is stupid, and it was a Konami rush job.

Too bad. A weekly contest would be a lot of fun if it weren't for Supernova being 100% unplayable. Rats.

Man, Ska A Go Go is one of those songs that you could pick in a tournament if you were really good at it and just blow people the fuck up. It really is one the type of song no one ever plays and it's just awkward and dumb enough that someone with good sight-reading skills wouldn't be able to get less than 15 on it when it's crunch time.

For the record if we were on Extreme and someone picked this song I would whine just as much because it is not a good chart/song and you would be hard pressed to find someone who disagrees. Obviously I use a lot of hyperbole but there are undoubtedly a good number of great and awesome songs that came with Supernova that are unplayable because they are so off (Red Zone, iFutureList) or they suffer from Stepmania "I can't sync the song so I'll make everything a purple note" Syndrome (Innocence of Silence, Konoko wa watashi Amono or whatever). Extreme had wayyy less problems than Supernova (D2R and Hyper Eurobeat being the big ones) but it still had flaws such as Ska A Go Go. The purple note shit was in Extreme (Gamelan De Couple) but it was for like a measure and not half the fucking song. If Konami didn't inexplicably take out all their awesome Konami Originals and retained most of the Dancemania licenses then I could overlook Supernova's problems but as it stands it was, as you pointed out, a rush job.

Did you really want to do the standard steps?
