Parents should have the right to expose their children to their relgiious beliefs because it creates a certain harmony within the household if you all share the same religion. Just brainwash the kid stupid and they'll do whatever you say. Duh. Then they can decide when they're older.

Side note: I'm interested to know in what context the practice of Wicca played a part in the couple's divorce decree. If they're both still Wiccan after the divorce, then it shouldn't be an issue. It should only matter divorce-wise if one parent wants the child to be Wiccan and the other does not.

There isn't a problem with exposing your children to your own religious beliefs, unless they specifically state they don't want to be go along with it. If you force them to believe and participate in a religion, they'll wind up hating you for it in the long run.
However, if a child is genuinely interested, I don't see a problem in teaching them. That being said, it's still, ultimately, the childs decision what they're going to believe, not the parents.

I remember going to the bathroom during church and sunday school to play Pokemon on my original gameboy.

I go to church now because it's not like the southern baptist shit. They don't make me feel miserable, hell, I used to party with my youth leader. We went to my first warped tour and he went with me last year. We sang along to Lars Fredricksen and the Bastards and did whatever else. Fuck them for trying to make us feel like we're the problem for the conformity they try to force on us.
