Let's make a good effort this week. Month 2 weigh-in is this Monday.

It doesn't take much to turn "Impossible" into "I'm possible."

Oct 1st! We're just one month away from showing off our bikini bods in the sluttiest Halloween costumes we can find. Can you imagine?

Merk will be a Fireman.
Ho will be a construction worker.
Riot will be a teacher. Way to be creative, Riot.
White Dragon will be a cop.
Imuyumi will be a CEO.
I will be a bear.
SDP will be a niner.

Looks like fpuffyfluffy is the only one taking it seriously.

Also, I hate the Niners.

I went swimming with Belinda this morning before work. The plan is to make this a regular thing.

And I thought DDR was hurting lately...man oh man am I out of shape! I got pretty winded after only a couple laps and my whole body feels pretty exhausted now.

Swimming is great exercise. Did you go to the YMCA? Was it a great way to get your day started? Is your body screaming at you? DId it beat you up? Did you do two laps before getting tired? Am I typing this while you're in the cube opposite to me?

Keep it up!

Down to 188 as of this morning. Not huge progress, but still movement in the right direction. Time to weigh yourselves again, people.

Was the water warm? I have this thing about cold pools, I just can't swim in them!

I would say that you're not swimming hard enough. Once you get going, your body gets warm and you won't really want the water to be too warm.

The pool I was in was heated, but I wouldn't call it warm. It felt cool getting in (but not unbearable at all). It was quite comfortable once I started swimming.

Yeah I'm just a casual pool-goer. My pool experience is pretty much just me bumbling around talking to my friends who are in the pool with me.

That and I like to do handstands under the water and stick my feet out and be all dainty and shit with them.

Yeah, the keyword was that I went 'swimming' with Belinda this morning, not just that I 'went to the pool'. ;)

I see the difference now, thank you.

Brian, as a hot tub owner, how do you feel about hot tubs? How is the upkeep experience?

My own experience has been pretty trouble-free so far. However, I think initial hot tub selection could have a significant impact on your ownership/maintenance experience. One criteria for the one we got was for it to be easy to take care of.
