"Thirty, Flirty & Thriving"
On a side note, having been around this group for a number of years now, I am continually amused by younger people's tendency to state fractional ages and upcoming birthdays, such as: "I'm 16 and a half" or "I'm 19, but I'll be 20 in two weeks."
I probably did this, too. I don't remember when I stopped. I guess when you're young you wish to accelerate, emphasize, and punctuate your age to feel like you're getting somewhere. Later on, getting older doesn't seem like such a big deal...some even dread it (thankfully, not me). I think being around IndyDDR has helped keep me young at heart. Although DDR itself sometimes reminds me of my age when my knees are throbbing and I'm gasping for breath.

No, I'm still 22...
The scary thing though, I joined the group when I was 18... the same age most of you seem to be now.

16, though I don't look it.
And people get mad that I'm only a junior (mostly because the rest of them are 17) and am graduating early next year
One year till freedom from highschool hell! X)

Highschool sucks. I would have graduated early (I had plenty of credits to do it), but the 'school' I went to made you write up this big paper on why you 'deserved' to graduate early, meaning they wanted you to go take 20 something credit hours in college, cure world hunger, and volunteer at green peace. Naturally, I wanted to graduate early so I could lounge around my house, play silent hill and eat ice cream.
I didn't get to graduate early.

Couldn't agree more.
Highschool was basically "Here, hang out with all of your closest friends 5 days a week"

Heh, of course. You didn't go where I went.
About the only time I really had fun in high school was my senior year, when I basically told the administration to fuck off, and I told myself I didn't give a damn anymore. I had all my credits except English, so I passed that, hung out and ...well, that was it. Worse case scenario, I'd get expelled, and take one credit of english through the mail. Big deal.
I went to a really oppressive, preppy school, so before that, it was virtually impossible to have fun, or find the right people to have fun with. This is the school that has been known to follow people outside of school to make sure they're not 'getting into trouble.' I'm not shitting you. They'll expell people for things they do on their own time, it's wack.
But, I'm done. Thankfully, because they've actually gotten worse since I left. I think they were afraid of me, actually... But I never got caught, so they had absolutely nothing to expell me with. It was beautiful.
