I would like to do that. I'm trying to work it out so we have an "Electronica Night" or something. Where I can play techno... and not "Disney Radio" like he wants me to play.

Apparently the manager thinks that the techno is crap like "The Hampster Dance" Oh well. That's when I break out Aqua and DJ sammy.

Ugh. Just, ugh.

But it's the stuff that the public thinks is true electronic music, so give them what they want.

I acutally kinda like DJ Sammy. I just wish he/she/it didn't become so mainstream. And Aqua is just classic.

But at the same time, I would much rather play just electronic dance and trace than that stuff.

Glad you asked, acutally.

Things are going pretty well there. Though I haven't beenable to play much of my own stuff. Only two songs I seem to have opprotunity to play are "Move your Feet" by Junior Senior, and "Heaven" by DJ Sammy.

My list is expanding quite rapidly, though. I'll make an updated listen of what I can play.

I'm going to try and convince the manager to let me prefrom my own special weekly sessions this summer. It's all still in the works. But I'm thinking about calling it "Discotique" and it will basically combonation of Electronic Dance, Trance, and House music, along with classic 70's, 80's, and early some early 90's.

I'm also thinking about have trying to convice the manager to let me do a special "J-Pop Dance Night", there wouldn't be any skating, but it would be like a dance party where people are welcome to come in all cosplay'd and dance to some weird, funky-fresh Japanese weird crap. I don't really listen to a lot of J-pop, myself. But I know it's popular, and I think people would like it. But most of all, it gives me an excuse to DJ while dressed up as Mario. (As in Super Mario Bros... not the damn rapper.)

I donno... Input?

Yeah, 5001 N. Shadeland.

Best time to come is if I'm working on Friday night, though I won't beable to play my funky-fresh sound on that night. But it is public skating between 6:30 and 10:30. And the other guys aren't bad DJs, they just play bad music. Which is exactly what customers want to hear.
