Re: Fantasy Footbaw 5: One hunnit dollars
This is my rampant pessimism checking in but this is one of those games were JaCha played well enough for me to keep him on my fantasy roster and play him each week as he proceeds to have very middling 9 or 10 point performances from here on out. But hey, it does feel good to eek out a win. GG, Mr. Ho! The Patriots are not very good this year but they will somehow reach the AFC Championship game and the sports press will continue to jerk them off.
I listened to some Boston sports radio program immediately after the game ended and there were men calling in literally crying and blubbering in that stereotypical Boston accent about how Tom Brady is a bad QB and should be benched for their backup and how the Patriots are done for the year and they should tank every game to get a high draft pick. I swear to God sports fans are the absolute worst human beings on the planet who can't see the world from any other point of view other than their own. There are a shit load of teams who would love to have gone to the playoffs every year for the last decade, reach the AFC championship game two out of the last three years, and have the amount of success the Pats have had.

I respect that. I want to say a good chunk of people in the league do not pay attention for the most part.

Re: Fantasy Footbaw 5: One hunnit dollars
Damn, this has been one of the best footie weekends in recent memory:
1) Colts won in a dominating fashion. The Bengals admittedly only had two of their top-tier offensive players active (Sanu and Bernard) but whoever called the defensive plays for the Colts was absolutely in the Bengals' head. Giving only ~100 yards to a team that has been able to get 400+ yards of offense every week this year is unheard of. We didn't play perfectly: the Richardson fumble was really dumb and avoidable, Fleener cutting the wrong way on his route when he was wide open, and the near-interception Luck threw in the red zone that was thankfully dropped were all things that could and should be cleaned up. Looking ahead at the schedule the two potential loss games are vNE and @DAL -- I can see the Colts eking out a #2 or possibly even #1 seed.
2) Seahawks lost in embarrassing fashion to an incredibly ballsy fake punt. Any sort of fake in footie owns.
3) Chargers lost which improves our chances of having home field advantage when we inevitably meet them in the playoffs.
4) I actually won in Finalu Fantaji Footbaw
5) Notorious drunk Kyle Orton of the Buffalo Bills wins in an incredibly dramatic fashion on a last minute TD
6) The Browns lost to the 0-6 Jaguars - maybe I won't lose my "Browns will get less than 6.5 wins this year" bet afterall!

We did it guys! We're champions!
For real though my DrumMania accomplishments thread is arguably the most "No one gives a flying fuck" thread on here IMO.

nah dog I care more about your drummania accomplishments than a fake version of something I already don't care about in the first place
