I don't recall disappearing, I just recall having an assload of schoolwork to Vincennes.

Also if I creeped women out so bad, then how come about 6 of my good female set me up with a gig working DJ at their formal? College girls, I might add. At St. Mary-of-the-Woods.

Hmm. guess you don't know anything about me.

Since I'm so worthless, why don't you go flame someone worth your time?
LOL St. Mary of the Woods? Dude..... lesbians don't count!!!!

It's time to add my two cents to this, as refering to previous posts made by.. me. It's one thing to bash somebody who you don't even know, and have them getting pissed off at you, to the point where they just burst. It's another thing entirely to bash somebody who has at least made one comment. After that, it's all a matter of personal opinion. But, please, let's try to keep the name calling of people not on this forum to a minimum. Especially if they read it...

*Hums*

Just need a little respect for your fellow man. They're going through the same shit as you, their shit just has a different face.
Person A, Person B, solution = happy medium.
Honestly, that's about all there is to it. Along with a few other things mentioned here.

Ho's view of this place being a peaceful haven on the internet is idealistic, but it can also be realistic if we all chip in. I'm not going to say that you have to like everybody, because that's never going to happen, as Jenna pointed out (an admirable statement, Jenna. n_n). But if we all show common courtesy to one another, IndyDDR will then be able to be the place that Ho desires it to be.
No more eggs! :D

Wow, isn't it amusing how the people that start the flames seem to get off scott free, and everyone puts the blame on someone who sticks up for themselves. Go ahead, you can push all the blame off on me if you want, but I don't 'flame' back. I'll argue my point, but I don't reduce myself to name calling and personal attacks.
There's nothing wrong with disagreeing with someone. Duh, that's gonna happen. But no one has a right to go around name calling and insulting people because of it. No one, no excuses. That's all there is to it. If they can't be mature enough to do even that, they shouldn't be here.
I'm doing my best to ignore all of this, because frankly, I'm sick of having to say the same thing again, and have it fall on deaf ears. They may not like me, and believe me, I don't agree with them on hardly anything, but I don't insult them and call them names. All I do, and all I've ever intended to do is add logical, thought out input on a topic or situation, and occasionally a bit of comedy where the situation calls for it.
I generally keep my personal feelings for these people to myself, but after weeks of putting up with this, I'm getting tired of it. They harass me, I try to explain myself, and I'm at fault?
Fine, if I'm really everything that's wrong with the world, Ho can go ahead and ban me. I'll bite my tongue, because believe me, I want this resolved as much, actually more, than anyone else. I just sincerely believe that I should not have a reason to have to explain the things they brought up. They should have never been said, and should never have had a reason to retaliate. That's basic common sense, and manners. Maybe I'm from a wierd family, but my parents taught me those when I was a kid. Anyone else?

Grubb wrote: I think we should just kick out those 3 people I'm not naming individually who go out of their way to be assholes. That's what admins do on every other large forum I've ever been to, except for this one. It seems to keep the useless flaming to a minimum.

Actually with a few exceptions, the things that Casey, Joe, and Chris say aren't that bad. Its the reactions that everybody has that keeps them fueled. Lets take a look how it works:

*Someone makes a rather rude comment, somewhat offensive, but can be easily brushed off* +
*Person B decides they need to say something about it and flames the first commenter making the situation worse* +
*then the first person who made the comment flames back making an even more offensive comment then the first, only now directed to the person B*=
Flame war.

Now where did the trouble *truely* start....with person B. While BOTH parties are guilty, person B should just let it go.

If person B just LET IT GO and ignore the first person, then I guarantee that we wouldnt be having the flames that we have right now.

Remember kids, it takes TWO (or more) to tango.
Oh give me a break are you freaking serious?
What kind of pussy footed tactics are you playing? NOBODY is going to just take shat from anyone, and nobody should. I'll admit arguing on the internet is retarded but give me a break, if I was getting the crap Grubb was taking I'd crack some skulls. There is NO reason for such behavior and if you really can't see that this is all just to diss Grubb you're blind.

Grubb isn't my favorite person in the world sure, but he does not deserve the crap that's being thrown at him from everywhere.

This is person A's fault end of story, if I was admin here like I am on my other forum I'd ban them in a second for childish behavior, and just acting like retards in general, no questions asked just a boot out the door.

Ho is trying his best to make the site nice and friendly, that's why he added in the rating system, but I'm sorry to say it's failed because of childish members on the forums, the only way it can work is if we drop the trash.
My advice to both sides is grow a pair and learn to STFU and keep it out of the forums. I'm sick as hell of all this retarded bickering.

Amazingly enough, I entirely agree with you there. You know what gets me though? You feed off of it, of these sad childish remarks. Anyone can make a kid cry if they piss in his/her Cheerios. The potential you have to be a willful monster is amazing. Don't waste it on flamebait anymore. Hold it for when it really counts, then strike. It's much more satisfying, and commands much more respect then setting up people who are ill adjusted
People too weak to follow their own dreams will always find a way to discourage others.
