Gamestop giving 40% for Powerup members (30% for nonmembers) for anything traded towards PS4. I just bought The Last of Us and after I beat that really quick, I'm gonna sell it back and my PS3 towards PS4. PS3 will be worth $150, not bad. Last of Us will sell back for like $40, and I have a few other random games that with 40% extra will pay for over half of a PS4, which I also just reserved at Gamestop when I was in.

So yeah, if you have consoles that you don't really plan on using that much until December, might as well consider trading them in for $120-$150.

I just said in the post above that I pre-ordered a PS4 nublet. I'll probably end up getting XB1 in a few years when it has some good games and is cheaper.

Im a Sony fan so probably the PS4 (just so i can say i have it) although it seems Microsoft are heading towards the STEAM movement.

In my mind, XB1 is just a console version of STEAM with a bit more exclusive games (and functions).

I will be interested to see which one gets hacked first (it'd would seem the ps4 would be easier since with the XB1 everything authenticates online...) so PS4 win win! i kid i kid (but no not really) ...

PS4 will probably take a while unless Sony is stupid and has that retarded "totally random guiz" key encryption again (I really doubt it will).
Vita is still mostly untouched save for some PSP Homebrew being able to run on it.
Well, this is all in terms of softmodding of course. Who knows what modchips will pop up! Technically 360 was hacked way before PS3, but PS3 is a way better to-have hacked device since it has some amazing homebrew and booting disk games off the HDD (I am unsure if 360 can do that, but Wii can too!).

Though the One's down a couple features -- Mattrick specifically says, "These changes will impact some of the scenarios we previously announced for Xbox One" -- it sounds like gamers won this round.
