It was a stock 2.0 SOHC. I've sold the turbo kit (IC, Piping, Turbo, BOV, etc.) for $850. Build ups are expensive. This time, I'd almost rather buy a car with a built engine and do the styling and such myself. The Neon was a sleeper, ask Joe.

My little red 1994 Saturn, affectionately named "Yansa".

She's so good to me, despite the fact that she seems to guzzle oil like a fiend...

oh my gosh! speaking of crazy cars with HUGE fins and dumb stickers. my friends and I used to drive around FW with a HUGE cardboard fin straped to the backs of our cars. we would cruse around and find all the spots where the dorky ricers hung out and make fun of them with it!

we woould get some great responses doing that stuff. everything from "righto on!!!" to death threats. it was so much fun, we even had one guy take a pic of us while we were driving :D

on a side note.

THE 1337 VAN DIED!!!!! NNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Welp, I currently drive a 1997 Burgandy Mistubishi Mirage Deluxe Edition...don't let the DE fool you, she's dying. Berkserker II has served me well...

but hopefully, in two monthsish, I'll be getting a 2004 Platinum Blue (I made that up...I don't know what the color is called) Neon SXT. It's cute and the inside (around the CD, tape, Radio, AC area) is the same blue as the outside. It's got gray interior (the best) and it's got low mileage. I'll find a pic later.

You should consider swapping a 4G63 and AWD drivetrain in your Mirage  It'd be worth it

I drive a 1996 Toyota Avalon XLS...its pretty sweet aside from color (mightnight grey/plum when the sun is out)...

Stardard layout, power everything, moonroof, leather, CD deck (which needs to be switched), 3 way speakers up front (which are all half blown), An ass load of trunk space...its also got a nice V6 under the hood, which lets it pick up REAL nice for a 4 door sedan...I can make a decent sprint, but once the car hits third gear it just dogs out.

Pic later...

I drive a three door black 1998 Ford Taurus. I say three door since the rear driver-side door can't be opened from the outside thanks to a giant dent from where a car backed into it. It also has many other designer dents, scratches, and paint scuffs on the body. She's a mighty fine piece of work.

She's equipped with a moonroof, power windows (three of which work), power locks, and a 6-disc CD changer conveniently located in the trunk. It also has a custom made "Support War Profitteering" magnetic black ribbon, a "I support the guy in China making these idiotic ribbons" bumper sticker, and a beanbag goat staring out the rear windshield. They totally up my horsepower. Totally.

You must not know me and either my A)inherent sarcasm, or B)inherent wasting of money. Both of which were at play here :)

Eh, I like body kits that look good on the car. As long as you mod it from the inside out.... then we're all groovy!
