The game has its ups and downs.

Stellar Master Mode is the most annoying thing for any experienced player go have to tolerate. I got 60% done with all of the "AA a basic song!" challenges, and then a moron friend of mine overwrote the memory card, so I had to redo the 4 hours of crap challenges. >_<

However, Game Mode has improved in the sense that even if you fail, you aren't sent back to the main menu; you're left at song selection again. Also, the song library is more mainstream, with hits from Caesars, Fall Out Boy, The Buggles, Cyndi Lauper, and David Bowie, so if you like newer or more recognizable songs, then the game might be worth it.

If you've got $40 that's dying to be spent, go for it. It's not bad, but there are a few flaws.

EUGH!

And I was *so* sure I wanted to get SuperNova eventually before I read this thread.

Now excuse me, I'm going to go be whiny...

i think i might just get a new control box so i can finally play stepmania with my Afterburner. so then i'll just download SuperNOVA.

"Mainstream" songs are probably the complete opposite of what I was looking for. I think the reason why soo many people choose ITG over DDR is it's not only for more advanced players, but the music is Techno and actually fun to dance to, instead of embarassing.

Alright then, I'll make you a lease-trade.

I'll let you borrow my SuperNova for your ITG (PS2), for a little while. That way, we get the best of both worlds for what we both already have.
