I was actually hoping you'd post Erin
because he mentioned calling you too. I was just stating what I knew at the moment, and I do agree, that a permanent ban is a bit excessive (from personal experience, because I have "manhandled" the ITG machine before, but it was in love...). but I think Teddy should be allowed back in, under the conditions he just writes a letter of apology to the management for the problem. (I know you won't like the idea
but it'd ease the tension). What bothers me... it could've been any kid and he would've gotten away, but since it was a regular, they knew who it was and would recognize them again if they came in.
Set aside... we could sell free teddy shirts

OOOHH Real life drama!!!!
But really how do you accidently kick a window? Was he just going out the door and opened it with his foot?
I push heavy doors open with my foot all the time, so I can see how that could happen.
If he was fucking around with friends playing ninja or some shit and kicked the window by mistake then yah umm, ban.

Yeah, I felt that the permanent ban was very excessive. I mean, I can see them getting upset, but trying to make him pay for it and then banning him? Stupid. -.- And I know that Teddy would write an apology letter in a heartbeat if he knew it could get him back in without any ill will. Contrary to what you'd think, I really do think it's a good idea. n_nGreen Tea wrote:I was actually hoping you'd post Erinbecause he mentioned calling you too. And what you said about the "any old regular kid" thing is very true. If it would have been a random person, they wouldn't have had to worry about anything, and would have gotten away scot free. But he didn't. And it's not fair at all that they came down so hard about something that could be very simply taken care of.
I lol'd about the Free Teddy thing. I was actually half tempted to write an editorial to the paper about something like that. But it's much higher stakes than a kid getting banned from an arcade (more along the lines of a high school classmate of mine being put in jail for something that wasn't his fault. It would have been "Free Scott.").
And Mexy put it right. Teddy WAS opening it with his foot. I wasn't standing with him when he did it, but I know Teddy. And I know that he wouldn't have kicked the hell out of the door to open it. He just nudged it open, and it broke.
Poor guy should be allowed back in. He hasn't gotten to play PIU yet. And I think we can all agree...that's just not right.
No more eggs!
An actual signature will come soon, I suppose.

I don't really take a stance on marijuana, legally anyway. Personally, I don't use it. However, if it IS legalized, I do believe ther has to be a degree of regulation, and I certainly don't want to deal with people who are highly under it's influence out in public. Driving, perhaps, would be one of the areas in which it would should be regulated...kinda like alcohol in that sense. Something tells me that being too apathetic behind the wheell isn't a good thing.Ottop wrote:Decriminalization of marijuana would save $10-14 billion anually.

understood and agree. you can test people to see if they've smoked drugs in the last 3-4 hours by swabbing their cheek and running that under a test. they started doing this in aussie land...wonder if it's workin outOriginal Sin wrote:I don't really take a stance on marijuana, legally anyway.
