"slammed as hard as we've seen someone slam"
damn, they are slam experts
he's such a noob though, laying there for so long;
he needed to press the X button to get up faster, everyone knows pressing the X button gets you up faster from a bail!
he shouldn't have attempted that spin move too, his special meter was clearly not full and his spin stat was too low also. such a noob.

LMAO when he's laying on the ground the guy goes
"Wow, I can't believe he nailed the 720."
Best part of the whole video.

Turns out, as amazing as that guy's 720 was...the next guy to go beat his score.
That "next guy" happened to be his best friend. Bob Burnquist.
-------------------
That guy ended up walking away; I swore he was going to die right there (I watched it unfold live). Seconds after it happened, they took a commercial break (thus the skip in video) for a good 8-9 minutes.
During those 8-9 minutes, I was calling virtually anyone with a TV.

My cousin entered a music video contest for Still Remains, and if he wins (which he is in the lead I believe), he wins some grand prize.
All you guys need to do is just watch it and leave positive comments. Or be a great person and go the extra mile and post it in a blog / bulletin on Myspace or Facebook. (whatever you use to contact massive amounts of fans.amirite?)
Here's the video. My cousin would really appreciate. :]
(he's the one at the beginning. The girl is his girlfriend)

no offense, but there's a lot they could have done to made this infinitely better... i mean the visuals are more suited to a mogwai, porcupine tree, or pinapple thief song.
for a rock-the-fuck-out metal song like that, they need to have wayyy more scene changes, way more energy, camera movement, effects, completely drop the sepia/B&W tones, and such.
they matched the lyrics to the visuals some of the time at least, but yeahhh... they should really redo most of the video.
again it's not a BAD video, but there's a lot they could do to improve. (better than 99% of youtube garbage for sure)
EDIT: holy shit, after seeing the other entries, i can see why he's winning. Your cousin shows 500% more timing/linking to the song than all the rest of the people, even the keyboardist of the band's video sucks bad.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERd1hgniSuQ = example of supreme emo attempt at this video, holy crap people.
On a side note, there's some other music video contest and everyone is submitting AMV's to it... and the AMV's have a couple thousand more views than all the rest of the videos. GJ on copyrights!
EDIT 2: Where in the world do people find music video contests on youtube? There's no group or contest for this contest your cousin entered in (not on the official Youtube channels for it), and if I put in "music video contests" on youtube I get back 35,000 videos.
When I posted this... I KNEW you would post something exactly like that.
I thought it was pretty good knowing that he's 17, and it was his first time ever using vegas.
Oh and I think the contest information is on the Still remains website.

What advantages do you see in using Vegas over Premiere Pro? Just looking for some insight, not trying to call you out on anything.

none, besides generic midi support for control interfacing, thats about all i can think of. if you have an idea you cant do in either premiere pro or AE your not using them right
