If I would have known that you were a Diet Cherry Coke virgin during the summer......
I was going to make a joke about taking your cherry, but that would be a mix of a joke and a pun, and I wasn't sure what to call it, so I just couldn't do it. Could I call it a "poke"? I certainly don't know.
Welcome to the wonderful world of Diet Cherry Coke-dome.

Reason why I only drink diet soda.
The average male from age 17-19 drinks on average 868 cans of soda a year. (this is an actual statistic) Let's say I get a denpop once a week (a thing here at purdue that's a whopping 50some ounces (for 50 cents)). So on an average week I will consume 249.76 fl oz of soda ((2.4 cans * 12 oz/can) + (50 oz)) ok now let's assume that an average can of cola has 180 calories in it (in a 12 fl oz can). That means that there is about 15 calories per fluid ounce (180/12). so that's 3746.4 calories extra a week (249.76 * 15). There is about 3500 calories (weight calories) in a pound (of weight). That makes an extra 1.07 pounds per week! now say that you don't drink as much during the winter, then you say drink it 45 weeks out of the year. That's 48.15 pounds extra you'll have to burn off.
And that's why I drink diet

because I'd rather spend the calories eating junk food.
Let's say: doritos
Doritos serving size is 12 full size chips. in 12 chips it is 140 calories (cooler ranch of course because it's the tastiest

.) so instead of drinking the soda, I can take the 168525 calories saved by drinking diet and have 1203.75 servings which is 14445 chips of doritos, or 48.15 bags of doritos (servings per bag is about 25).

Do you drink the actual cans or the 20 oz. bottles? Cause the bottles are 2 servings.

the numbers I used were based on average consumption of cans. I calculated it out on basis of the number of fluid ounces consumed on average. And be honest

nobody drinks a 20 oz bottle at two different times

lol I don't count calories (trust me) I'm just explaining why diet has advantages over regular. I could never count calories... That'd assume that I cared about what I ate.

no they drink the 20 oz at one time, and possibly another later in the day, hence they drink 4 servings of sugary crap, possibly more.
Did you see "Super Size Me"? It's not that great of a movie, and the main message is condsending, but eh, at least you got to see a fat guy who drank over 130 oz of soda a day recount the day he suddenly went blind at work, then decided to get a gastric bypass.

FYI:
One 20 oz. bottle of diet soda has about the same amount of fermaldahyde as a pack of cigarettes, unless your diet soda is sweetened with splenda. Aspartame is one of the ingredients that they use to make soda, and foods, diet. Aspartame is made of methanol, and fermaldahyde.
Aspartame also causes MS like symptoms, and can make auto-immune diseases such as lupus and grave's disease flare up, as well as making circulatory diseases such as Reinad's (sp?) Syndrome flare up..
Just thought you ought to know..
