At worrrrrk but I'll try to watch during my lunch break.
I've played 3rd Strike pretty much everyday this week since the SC2 beta went away. I get beat sooooo fucking bad, it's kind of embarrassing. Of course the people who go out of their way to set up and play 3S on their computer across the internet are all hardcore players who can't let this 10+ year old game die. Needless to say everyone except me is exceptionally good. I just can't parry on the internet

Yeah that's actually a really awesome video that compiles many great moments in 3S tournaments. RX is probably the most famous Urien player in Japan, he has crazy good execution and is really creative in many different types of situations.
You see, this is one of the many things I enjoy about 3S. It's fun to watch and there are opportunities for massive comebacks in every battle.

That free bracketed tournament mode DLC came out probably when I was gone. I'ma go fight some people and win some trophies.

My 3rd Strike boner is still raging hard.
Chad I sort of lost track of time while playing 3S - I looked down at my clock and saw that it was 9pm and figured it'd be too late to make the trip over to you. That is the real reason why I didn't make it to your house last night. I'm sorry I'm a liar and a cheat.

3rd Strike is really fun and all, but I just like playing 4 since it's where the competition is at and all the players. I'm hoping Indy starts organizing more tournies now that the arcade has SSF4.

That's ok. I practiced a bit last night. Finally beat the game too! Now I have Nippon voices.Merk wrote:My 3rd Strike boner is still raging hard.

Hey Chad, just think, if you didn't have to go to a Thursday night wedding we could actually be playing video games tonight.

Re: ummmmm Street Fighter IV anyone???
It's time for Newegg's annual WANFest! SSF4 is free to enter, and there's $100, $300, and $500 prizes.

Sign up! Basically you just play a match every night or every other night and winners move on. I played in it last year but lost because I sucked really bad still. I still suck, but maybe I'll do a little better.

Vuvuzelas are banned from EVO, therefore no thanks.
Buuuut it's too much money when I am coming off a honeymoon and moving in to a new apartment throughout the week. Not good timing!

Dudley's Jap voice is pretty bad. I don't understand how you can have a character with a really awesome voice in 3S and then a downright terrible one in SSF4. Did the original voice actor die or something? These people are always begging for work so it couldn't have been an issue of "meh I don't need the money / I'm too busy."Fluffyumpkins wrote: That's ok. I practiced a bit last night. Jap MGB: masheen gun BROW!
Jap U2: Coke-a-scrooooo..... BROW!
Eng MGB: Keep it clahhssy.

There is literally no way you paid for any part of the honeymoon. Your wife comes from the upper echelon of society, your debt is her debt. You are but one flesh now and thus fiscal woes are none of your concern.Riot wrote:Vuvuzelas are banned from EVO, therefore no thanks.

But if you just don't want to go that's fine too just say so!

Re: ummmmm Street Fighter IV anyone???
But if her money is now my money and the other way around, we are collectively poor now therefore I have no funds to siphon from her. It would be fun and all, but kind of expensive and bad timing right now. PLUS IT WOULD INTERRUPT MY RUN AT $500 FOR WINNING WANFEST
