So good. This takes all the elements I love and throws them in a blender. Cut up funky samples, speed, 8 bit sounding synths, and lots and lots of repetition. Stuff it in your earholes now.
This totally sounds like a 5-key Beet Beet song.

I guess. It isn't complex, but I don't think it needs to be. It isn't one of those weird 5 key songs that's randomly thrown together with samples that don't make sense. Honestly, I think a lot of 5 key songs could be recharted and be a lot more fun.

Slake still sucks.

Songs that don't need to be drum n bass still sound awesome when they are.

I wish the DDR dancers would bust out like this. Instead they just do weird spins and something that I can only assume is the vogue.

A track that was taken off Snoop Dogg's infamous album, "Doggystyle" which is arguably one of the best albums of all time.

It's a so-so dubstep/dnb track, but this video? Dubstep now is what grunge was in the 90s. Packaged for teenage consumption. This isn't an isolated video. These might as well be videos for Korn or Linkin Park.

Please let this bubble burst. I admittedly like dubstep, but it's really starting to get on my nerves.

You have no idea how fucking smug I am right now about I was right from day one that dubstep is a vapid and dead-end genre. It's like disco all over again except it has no redeemable qualities.

you have nothing to be smug about; you weren't here saying anything from "day 1". You weren't around circa 2003 when people like d1, el-b, kode 9, menta, benny ill etc got together and started fusing uk garage with dub-like basslines using a lot of sporadic 2step patterns and making awesome shit. I'm going to assume you haven't once in your life listened to anything along the lines of mark one, loefah, digital mystikz, kode9, plasticman, hell even burial

All you did was show up in like what, 2008 (well after proper dubstep creators have moved on to other sounds, leaving their talented, original sounding, but of course unheard and unnoticed mark), and called out the garbage showing up all over youtube and the radio and calling it shit? Derp, really? My fucking dad called that out, it's not hard. It's garbage and protip: it's not dubstep. That word has been dirtied by all these kids with no taste and no other experience in experimental music.

I purposely never bring up or even try to talk about real electronic music here because god damn none of you know anything about it
