What games are you currently playing?

Well not that anyone cares, but here are some more pretty screenshots of my time in Guild Wars 2 so far! It is the first MMO since Ultima that exploring and sightseeing has been really emphasized and exciting for me. These are mostly from around the central city of the world, Lion's Arch. The screenshots are scaled down from my monitor resolution too, so they look much better in game. Seeing the moving plants underwater in the last picture looks so awesome!

Finished Bastion. Big letdown of a game. Way overhyped. 6/10. Short, easy, few cool bosses. The art direction and price were fair, but it could have been so much more.

Just bought The Last Story. Hate the Wii, but I love the dudes at Mistwalker. So we'll see!

I kinda wanna play Dust: An Elysian Tail, but maaaaaaaan it IS a furry game http://www.destructoid.com/review-dust- ... 2968.phtml

I played the demo, but had to put it down after a few minutes. There's an overwhelming amount of button mashing without any challenge to give the moves depth. Everything slashes across the screen or launches everything up into the air. If I were bad at videogames and watched a lot of anime, I'd love this game.

And yes, the amount of furdom in that game is insufferable.

The designer admits this game is meant for casuals to mash away and have neat combos.

This game exists for people that want to feel like they're doing something really cool with combos and juggling without any effort or practice. This game is basketball played with a five foot goal. This game is soccer played with a kickball. This game is a yoyo attached to a rubber band. This game is bumper bowling. This game is microwaving dinner. This game is paying for sex.

There isn't anything inherently bad about it, but thrills vanish quickly and there's no substance to back it up. 10 mins of fun and you're done. I want to believe everyone on IndyDDR is above this.

Bought Borderlands 2 cuz it was on sale for 38 bucks at Greenmangaming.com and I still had Diablo money in Paypal. Should be a fun game.

I'm waiting for hype to settle before buying in. I want to make sure it isn't a Diablo 3 repeat. I still have money in my bank account through having Merk as a roommate to pay for this in case anyone was curious.

Fun so far! Very funny writing too, very Portal-esque. I'm a level 8 sniper man! Not sure what hype you're talking about... didn't think this game was THAT hyped in general, just a very solid game all around that's a good mix of FPS and lootfest.
