Doubles is cool. It makes passing 9s something of a challenge again.
Also, I've read that belly fat is really the last fat to go, but I wouldn't swear to it. That might just be a myth, but it seems to be the generally agreed upon notion. You'll lose fat elsewhere before the belly slims out.

It's a general tendency for males to keep their last stores of body fat in their abdominal region. Females tend to vary based on pear/apple shape.
Get a check on your diet if you want to make some real weight changes.

Check on your diet? What's that mean?

Know the amounts of calories and macronutrients that you're eating every day. If you aren't losing weight over a couple of weeks and your calories are consistent day to day, drop ~200 calories per day and reassess in a couple of weeks. If your goal is weight loss, calories are THE most important thing. The approximate measurements (there's a lot of metabolic processes, etc. that complicate it person by person) are ~3500 calories to a pound of body fat. If you're losing over a pound a week, it's probably water weight, obesity or professional level conditioning.
It's all too common for people to struggle with weight loss (not implying Riot&Co are struggling by any means) but they never get true metrics of their progress. They just step on the scale at random times and either get discouraged or bad information.

God damn I need to get back into lifting. I am a fat guy and I don't like treadmills or any sort of cardio that isn't a game. I love basketball and DDR but I cannot stand a treadmill or elliptical.

Just want to bring this point back:
SoDeepPolaris wrote:Regular flat ground crunches are a pretty bad exercise. Some of the variations Dave listed are much better floor workouts for your abs. Dave mentioned this somewhat but spot reduction is a myth. You can't target fat loss on your abs, (or chest, or any other specific area for that matter).

I haven't really worked out for 3 weeks aside from two DDR sessions or so because school started and FFXIV came out, BUT I'm down to the my lowest in a long long time! 169.5 this morning! Mainly I've just been trying to eat less and smarter. I have a lot of greek yogurt and fruit lately, and little protein bars instead of other snacks. My daily little lunch wrap I make on a smaller 60cal whole wheat tortilla which forces me to use less meat.

Man, those things really do look like Venus fly trap murder teeth and even to this day when I'd bored and I have one of those clippies on hand I clamp it on to my fingers and pretend that it's eating me.

Yes. Yes I can.
Get back to being buff. I need someone to complain about why I don't get to eat all the junk food I'd like.
