Vergil and Hawkeye look awesome and are so far topping my list of new characters to use on a team. Then again, Dr. Strange, Firebrand, Strider and Nemesis look fun too.... and I'm guessing Rocket Raccoon and Nova will be great too. Iron Fist's meter-building fists could be good. Hell even Captain America looks like he might be good now with his double jump, OTG shield and nice invincible cartwheel (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rffjJiGW ... r_embedded).

Will likely be dropping Wesker and Akuma, but we'll see. I think Taskmaster will still be really good. I think the tricky teleport character role that Wesker played can be filled by Strange, Vergil, or Strider. So far thinking Vergil/Hawkeye/Taskmaster or Hawkeye/Taskmaster/Strange. We'll see!

Again, like I've been telling you, Doom is A-tier and not as shitty as you and Chad make him out to be even in vanilla MvC3. He's going to be even better in UMvC3 so I hope you're ready for a fuckton of foot.

Other than that I really hope they blow their Phoenix Wright load soon because that's really the only character no one has any idea how they're going to play.

I don't think Doom is "bad." I just think that in vanilla he is just outclassed by other characters that do everything better, as is the case with a lot of characters. I also just think the way you played with him was ineffective and a contributing factor to you losing more than you oughtta, but spamming footdives is going to be a lot better now apparently cuz it groundbounces and has more invincibility. Doom is good if you can master his crazy meter-building air loops, but other than that he is mainly just good for assists. In Ultimate, he will probably be top tier.

He looks like a mix of Wesker and Dante and will likely be a good mix-up character. As of right now, my launch day experiment team is going to be Vergil/Hawkeye/Taskmaster or Taskmaster/Hawkeye/Vergil. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hnqHlphO ... ideo_title Good Strider info, but look at the end at like 11:20 at Hawkeye's poison arrow... that thing does a ton of leeching damage. Hawkeye is looking pretty awesome.

Didn't watch video BUT does anyone know when they're announcing Phoenix Wright? That's the only character I'm interested in since everyone else's fighting design is obvious.

I've been trying to play Taskmaster/Storm/Wesker a little bit lately since Storm can DHC off of Taskmaster super super easily (hailstorm OTGs and the other ice grab OTG works as well), and she can DHC glitch into Wesker if I'm fighting a big HP enemy. Basically enemy touch with Taskmaster means they're dead, assuming I have enough meter.

I suck with Storm though, she's really hard to get in and attack with. Still fun to mess around with. I might keep her around and try to learn her a little for Ultimate since I think she will be very good with air X-factor. I'm mainly jazzed for Hawkeye though, I think he is going to be a force to be reckoned with. He and Taskmaster combined will make for a really annoying team =) too bad Tasky's getting nerfed =(

Wow... Phoenix looks, sounds, and plays dumb. I did like the look on Sent's face when Phoenix proved him guilty.

Nova, on the other hand, is looking solid.

Horry shit, Wright in level 3 mode is straight up murder even without x-factor. He put a lot of black on that Taskmaster and probably would have killed him in one combo even without x-factor.

Too bad he doesn't look good otherwise but throwing papers everywhere is pretty lol

His moveset... Isn't what I expected. Looks like a chance character and I've never liked those. I hope he's still fun to play, though, I've always wanted him in a fighter. Love the Ace Attorney series.

Nova looks pretty sweet. His beam hyper does more damage if he has a lot of red life, so the more punishment he takes the more he dishes out. I wanna see his assists. I'm loving the strong normals, OTG ability, and decent mobility. He kinda looks like a mix of Wesker/Iron Man/Skrull. Still impossible to guess before I get to play, but I'm thinking Nova, Ghost Rider or Iron Fist/Hawkeye/Taskmaster or something. Really wanna see Rocket Raccoon... we might get to see him still this weekend once the full NY Comic Con show is under way. Last year, this is when they revealed the last 4 characters in vanilla.
