wtf is this with idm? Ive never said anything about it over other genres. the fact that an artist would actually use a name with x's around it says more about that person and his music than you could imagine

It wasn't invented by 13 year old depressed females. Look at hardcore's history. Teen Idle's album cover from 1980? Crossed fists with X's on them (straight edge movement). It was a style born in hardcore punk, then somehow about two decades alater it got into the hot topic kids. I don't know how, but I view it as a Straight edge/hardcore thing, not some xxxxxTooDepressedToPoopxXxxxX screenname.
