Re: Fantasy Footbaw 4: A competition of caring
Brees will be your best bet. I would also trade out Riley Cooper for Larry Fitzgerald since the majority of Cooper's points were from a fluke against the Raiders last week. Arizona will be playing from behind and they'll need to go to Fitzgerald a lot.

Re: Fantasy Footbaw 4: A competition of caring
I'd have won this week if I had played that toolshed Tom Brady.
He's got a bye for this week. I can't decide if I should put him back in for next week or continue my silent protest of his asshattery.

Russell Wilson is serviceable but the offensive line of Seattle is God awful which can only hurt his stats. Either way I think you're fine and I'd recommend riding Wilson out until their bye week in two weeks; after their bye they have a pretty rough schedule. I'd play Brady for the remainder of the season after Seattle's bye barring any heinous injury to him or New England's already thin WR corps.
Does V pay attention to her shit? She's in first and I'm wondering if it's dumb luck or if she is making moves every week. Suckers With Luck indeeeeeed.
Two good college games on tonight! Oklahoma @ Baylor and Oregon @ Stanford. I sure as fuck hope they both (Oregon and Baylor) beat the spread!

God damn I will never understand why anyone would throw that punch especially when you're in college fighting to be drafted. Absolutely retarded move on his part but I like to think he got his comeuppance.
But yeah I'm ready for football tonight woooooo!

He got suspended for the season which likely caused him to not get drafted.
He eventually got picked up but I'm sure he didn't get that sweet, sweet rookie salary

I remember the suspension which was later lifted before the ASU game. He played the last two games of the season against Oregon State and Ohio State.Merk wrote:He got suspended for the season which likely caused him to not get drafted.

Hey, at least we don't have the replacement refs, anymore...Merk wrote:God damn, I have no idea how the refs keep all the rules and their respective penalties straight since there are a shit ton of obscure ones.

Or these guys.

And a big fuck you to Merk for somehow convincing me to switch out Cooper. I should have trusted my Chip Kelly intuition since it was an away game.

Re: Fantasy Footbaw 4: A competition of caring
In my defense the dude did only have 3 receptions. You always want to play the long game and pick players that will get targeted a lot. With Cooper it just happened that the 3 catches he had ended up being monster plays.
You gotta know when to hold 'em ... know when the fold 'em!
Anyway, I'll write up a bigger post with my reflections from this week. Holy fuck was this a bad week of footbaw!
