yeah i'm pretty sure every character has a wake up ultra that will catch dudley's sweep. guess i can't do a meaty sweep when the opponent has ultra. riot i've been doing c.lp -> s.mp -> lp-shoryuken -> hp-shoryuken a lot i hope you have noticed. i enjoy the combo. i am disappointed i did not successfully execute my combo into u2 however. i apologize.

Yeah I noticed you were stringing together little combos better and not just dropping me so much when there were more potential hits to be had. Like you say though, I think there is more potential for U2 to continue yours combos, though I don't know if they're corner-dependent. You might consider doing smaller combos that you know you can juggle the U2 off of for more damage and chance of success.... so instead of trying to lp mp light shoryu hard shoryu or whatever, just do machine gun blow > U2 or whatever move you have that goes directly to U2. That way you can hit confirm with the first move, then get good damage off the ultra, that way you don't always have unused U2 at the end of each round... just don't throw random ones like me!

Done pretty good so far today... got the Tenpeat achievement, which is winning 10 ranked matches in a row. I'd say I won about 75% of the time in the hour and a half I played. I'm trying to get the cross-up mk lp mp bnb links down to a science but I keep messing up the timing. I go way slower than it really is. I NEED TO FIX THIS

You see Brian I could have done something awesome and put a lot of effort into it but I think it would have inevitably gone under-appreciated. Thus, whatever my 1337th post would have been I decided to do it in leet.

Merk and I were playing some SFIV the other night and we got into an argument over which Street Fighter character was hotter. I say Juri, but he says Chun-Li. We agree that Juri has a rockin' body, although Merk says Chun Li's legs are the real deal.

What are your thoughts?



Not sure why Merk wanted to talk about how hot cartoon characters are, but that's a different post entirely.

Merk always pauses for 10 seconds every match when I pick Makoto, and I think he is "twaddling his joystick" a bit whenever he sees her butch face and large lady feet. I've also noticed Merk's affinity for Rose, perhaps because she is from Mexico and Merk enjoys her cooking, or perhaps it's because she wears the most modest outfit, appealing to Merk's search for an intelligent life partner who has good control of balls (her new Ultra 2).

I dunno about Makoto... I think she's pretty good in the right hands. I either destroy them or get owned by them, so I think most people are just in the honeymoon period with the game and trying out the new characters but most people are pretty terrible with them. The good players are crazy good with Makoto, doing that Ultra where she bounces off the wall and then after juggling with that upwards fist punch, then an EX dash rush thing. I think she has potential.

Chad better be done with his lame exercise thing soon so he can become slothlike like us soon and counteract all the walking he has done.

I tried fiddling with Makoto and it was meh. You need to be able to kara-choke grab in order to be really good with her.
