c-ya (although you prolly have gone by now) basic training was lotsa fun, when I look back at it...true you gotta wake up super-early, usually to a drill sergeant yelling and clanging on a trash can, and we only had 10 minutes to eat our food...and the food WAS pretty bad-our choices were country fried steak (or some variation...they call it veal one day, pour salsa on it and call it southwest pork fritter, melt parmesian cheese on top and drop some spagetti sauce and call it chicken parmesian...etc) and some sort of chicken...the things we did and learned plus the friends I made when I made it to week 4 (no speaking until spoken to by a drill sergeant...ugh!) made the entire time worthwhile...just remember that this is only the begining, and always stick with it!
