Re: CPU Help
I still wouldn't consider 2 GB of RAM deserving of the word "only," but maybe I'm behind the times...

Re: CPU Help
2gb is kinda the standard now, with 4gb inching in.
And Vista Ultimate 64-bit is really stable and gives good performance, it's faster than XP ever was for me.

Which has nothing to do with the fact that you also bought a new computer to go along with it. Oh wait.Riot wrote:2gb is kinda the standard now, with 4gb inching in.

Re: CPU Help
Well obviously that helps, but when I bought a top of the line computer 4 or 5 years ago with XP it was just worse than Vista is now. Just saying, a lot of people are Vista naysayers and claim Vista has soooo many bugs and performance issues (like those stupid Mac commercials), but I think a lot of those complaints are unfounded.

Re: CPU Help
Well im gonna try the CPU tommorow, but as for the vista complaints, I have been on vista ultimate64 since just a little after its release and i havent had any problems even with my 3GB of RAM, the preformance from my Pentium 4 however is the only thing i have had problems with, IMO the Pentium 4 is the "Wanna-be Ghetto, White Boy" of the CPU world...using its parents money to buy the South Pole apparel....but still...aint got no soul...Riot wrote:Well obviously that helps, but when I bought a top of the line computer 4 or 5 years ago with XP it was just worse than Vista is now.
