well i just got back. SN2's interface looks ALOT better than SN1. hooray for getting greats and still ending up with a AAA! its nice how they have all the songs divided by mix. every song that was on extreme is in SN2 so i guess thats pretty sweet. same with SN1. IMO there were only a hand full of the new songs i really enjoyed. i think when they release the final version, it will be pretty badass.

if u get like 990.000, u get a AAA. so u can AAA a song with at least 3 greats or something like that. ppl have been bitching about it so it will probably be returned back to the original way.

Sounds like watered down DDR USA or beatmania (US) scoring...

Is it really that watered down? Considering a 990,000 or whatever probably won't be that easy to achieve with marvelous's in the mix.

HAY IT SOUNDS KINDA SIMILAR TO TRI-STARS AND QUAD-STARS AMIRITE?

*crosses fingers and hopes they have usb support as well*

Good point. I had forgotten that it was stated Marvelous was in regular game play now. If that's the case, they should just figure it like a Perfect Combo in IIDX which is defined as all Just Greats and Greats. I do not believe it has a direct score correlation. And maybe neither does SN2. It could just be that getting all Perfects and Marvelous will always or nearly always amount to 990,000 or above.

wow, the stepchart for paranoia hades is insane.

not like it's impossible but for a DDR stepchart, it's pretty hard.

the NGO stepchart on challenge is akin to the retardedness of the fascination eternal love mix challenge chart.

A bit of an update to the recent news. Apparently there are some major stability issues with the machine to where sorting by most popular, selecting courses, or "scrolling down more than 10 songs" will crash the machine. They had it downgraded to SN1 at one point, then put it back to SN2. While this was one of the SN1 'beta cabinets' used at trade shows, this is not good to say the least since the Japanese release is happening on the 22nd.
