This Thursday is somewhat of a "trial" date. It could really be any night of the week, but for now we can try this Thursday, and see how the idea evolves.

i was supposed to go to bemanifest but i have to work. me and a bunch of ppl from IL and a few texans were gonna carpool up there for the week but i have to work im seriously pissed off

lol. well we're pretty much already going on thursday this week, but maybe you could suggest a different night for next week? 7pm is a good time M-F due to rush hour being over by then and sundays are good too!

The only night I MIGHT be able to do this would be Tuesday nights, class mon/wed/thurs, work sunday nights.

I seem to be posting in the less popular threads...I will not be there tonight, but I am going there around 5 or 6 tomorrow.

Yeah, I'll be there. Only for a couple hours, but I'll be there.

Well, tonight was some of the most fun I've had in a long time regarding ITG (last week at GOM). Truth be told, I expected this to be really fun, and it was even better than that. Here's a quick rundown of everyone who came by:

People we know (8 people):
Me
Cbav
Cbav's girlfriend, Kristina
Cbav's cousin, Brett
Kaleb
Mike
Katy
Other Jeff (JP Sasuke)

People we didn't know, but decided to play (5 people):
Two latino guys.
Three Shelbyville goth people.

All in all, 8 people that we know is pretty fun, also considering that TaQa had to work, and there could be 4-5 other people stopping by.

Brief Synopsis:
-6:50, Cbav/his friends and Jeff arrive
-7:05, Mike/Katy arrive
-7:40, Kaleb arrives
-8:10, JP arrives
-8:15, Cbav and Jeff go to get drinks at Speedway
-8:18, Cbav gets energy drink.
-8:19, Jeff gets red slurpee, only to see it is all syrup.
-8:20, Jeff gets blue slurpee, only to see it is all syrup.
-8:21, Jeff gets fountain drink; can't figure out how to put lid on.
-8:22, Cbav gets irritated.
-8:23, Jeff heads to the line to check out.
-8:24, Jeff realizes he forgot his wallet.
-8:25, Cbav spots Jeff a one.
-9:15-ish, we decide not to go eat anywhere tonight.
-9:20, Cbav and friends leave.
-9:45, Jeff heads out; Mike and Katy still left.
-10:00, ???

So, we decided not to go eat tonight. Time permitting, we probably would've gone to Steak n' Shake, but Kristina had to be home by 10 pm, so that plan out the window. Thus, we decided next week we would try again, maybe an hour sooner?

Lastly, I thought of a nickname for our group besides "Weekday Night Rascal's," and at first I wasn't sure if anyone besides me would like it. Katy really liked it, and everyone else didn't seem to hate it, so it would appear this is our group name:

"Indy Groove"

See what we did there? *Sigh* Hopefully we can get a photoshopped logo or something...

Tonight was really a huge success, and it appeared that everyone had a great time. I went really far into Energizer, and Cbav even quad-starred a song! z0mg!

So, with tonight a great event, we're looking to Tuesday for our next shindig? Who's in? I am.

Yeah, man. I played with you on Energizer. I was horrible. I haven't played since TFP got rid of ITG2. Oh and yeah, Cbav did get a quad star. Impressive. Other than that, tonight was pretty fun, it was the first time I've actually hung out some indyddr people. It was awesome.
