Let's make "fuck" an acceptable word on all channels but kids stations...and abortion legal everywhere with no age limit and free...

You're right, it's small and seems insignificant. However, that's where it starts....small things. Then they grow. You can already say bitch on the radio, so use your imagination...

I plan on having kids in a few years, and personally, I'd like to not have to worry about anything. Unfortunately, I'm already going to have to worry about language on the radio...the tv...pornagraphy...

You're expressing opinion on the present day and not thinking about the future we're providing our up and coming generations.

I don't know, I guess I just think about people, other than myself.

So what if they can say bitch on the radio? these words are only 'bad' because certain sects of society don't like them. There is no world altering effect to using a 'bad' word. I use them every day, no one cares. You're being ignorant if you think your kids are going to grow up and not be exposed to them. I was at a young age, it didn't hinder me any. Why?
Because my parents taught me respect, and common sense. I knew it wasn't a good idea to mouth off to my parents, or my teachers.

Trying to hide the world from children isn't a good idea. Instead, teach them to live in it. The best way to turn a child against you is to shelter them and try to pull the wool over their eyes...all that does is breed curiosity, which as we know, has a way of killing the cat.

Sex is no different. They are going to hear about it, regardless of what kind of crap they're playing on TV. I knew what sex was before I reached the 3rd grade...why? Because kids talk. Someone finds out, and the next day, everyone knows. It IS going to happen. Before I left elementry school (I think it was 5th grade) we had formal sex-ed training, and learned all the facts. I knew it wasn't a good idea, it was risky. So I didn't do it, despite having seen sex in movies countless times, seeing it glamorized in society. That part didn't matter. I knew what it was...big deal.
Do you really want kids to be kept out of the loop, and start to get curious about sex based soley on it's glamorization and hear say? That's the best way to get them to attempt it, if that's what you want.
