It was pretty cool. Kind of a giant army recruitment tool but pretty good =)
Not so great of a storyline, but it was quality entertainment whether potter will admit it or not.WhiteDragon wrote:Original Sin wrote:I love complex plot lines and emotionally moving flicks...but if that's ALL I watched, I'd get tired of movies real quick. Sometimes, you just wanna sit back, relax, and watch a movie...not have to excercise your brain to figure out a massive plot web.
Okay, keep watching only those movies that have an incredibly complex plot, sure they're great movies, but like everything else... they're great in moderation.Potter wrote:because entertainment is fully objective and whatever entertains you is sure to catch everyone else's fancy.
That movie was Hollywood's shameful attempt to buy into an artsy medium with the help of a few muscled hotties and half-witty one liners. I rank this turd in the same pile of feces as Donnie(y) Darko.letshavetea wrote:Okay, keep watching only those movies that have an incredibly complex plot, sure they're great movies, but like everything else... they're great in moderation.Potter wrote:because entertainment is fully objective and whatever entertains you is sure to catch everyone else's fancy.
Hell, my favorite movie of all time is Fight Club, and if you think that movie's plot is simple.... you, my friend, are strongly mistaken.

Fight club kicked ass. It could have been my mother and Joe Dirt as the actors, it still kicked ass.
Any list that doesn't have Monty Python and the Holy Grail in the top 10 is ridiculously mistaken.letshavetea wrote:according to this Fight club is the 31st best movie of all time.... sooo *shrug*ShammerS wrote:Hello contradiction!Fluffyumpkins wrote: That movie was Hollywood's shameful attempt to buy into an artsy medium with the help of a few muscled hotties and half-witty one liners.

There's an old Romanian proverb, "Gusturile nu se discuta," or "Gustibus no disputando" in Latin, IIRC.OrangeLounger wrote:OPINIONS ARE AWESOME
