Anyhow... 14 and 18 seem weird now because 14 is "young". But in the end, age doesn't/shouldn't matter. It won't matter if and when they make it to when Mamimi is 17 and Coty is 21, something like that. Age doesn't really matter, and most of the world probably knows that already with all the people marrying like Michelle Branch and her husband, 19 years difference [that made me sad... ;_;] or my former piano teacher, whose husband was 10 years her senior. I only back this up because: 1) my boyfriend is 3 years older than me, and we met when I was 16; and 2) I have met Mamimi and talk to her, and she is mature for a 14 year old, in my opinion... I even thought she was much older when I first met her. ^^;;

Internet vs. in person = different.

Yeah, that whole thing/fact/whatever about girls maturing faster [mentally] by 2 to 3 years than guys, I believe in that; and I believe Mamimi and Coty are fine.

Or maybe I'm too sucked into Cardcaptor Sakura with the whole student-teacher relationships, or Sakura & Yukito with Sakura being in 4th grade and Yuki in 11th? Wahahaha. =P

It kinda switched from "Cocky Players" to "Kelsie and Coty's Relationship" here.

BTW, Our team doesn't own. Never has. We're so far down in the ranks of DDR players, it's not even funny, even though a select few of us are about equal with 7/8th of Mishawaka's players. If it wasn't for the fact I was sick while I was there, I would of easily made it second round. Coty was the only one there that was what I would consider "out of my leauge"... oh, and WILLIS. But he said he isn't as good at DDR as he is at ITG. But, man is he good at ITG.

It would be fun to have some Mishawaka V.S. Kokomo matches when we are all in good health. I always seem to have something wrong with me before a tournament though (first time I went to mishawaka, my knee was messed up randomly, second time, I was apparently sicker than a dog and didn't know it until the way home).

We'll be back the 22nd. And I hope everyone is in good health, so we have a fair match, considering I don't think any but DDRKokomo and MegaSDN will be entered in this tournament.

Anyway, continue being on-topic of cocky players. I really don't know of that many. It's a game. In fact, its a game the rejects of society play, so there isn't too much of a reason to be cocky. (Unless for some reason one of the popular preppy kids play... but thats a rarity.)

Edit: Holy Crap, Kelsie is 14? How does she look so much older than me when I'm the older one. I thought she looked like.. 17 or 18.

And there will always be cocky players for any game, too. I know that from watching the Soul Calibur 3 Nationals in Chicago this past Sunday. Oh, that winner...

Just because you're good, doesn't give you the right to think you're on a pedestal above everyone else.

Any game can get competitive, even a stupid game like pick-up-sticks. XD!

And yeah, when I first met Kelsie, I asked her if she was in high school (I was thinking like junior/senior-ish) and she was like nope, middle school. I didn't know what to say. =P

I guess she and I were switched in age-guessing... when I first started frequenting MegaPlay, everyone thought I was younger... then I said... I'm a rising sophomore in college.

Not that Coty will murder her family (who knows), but the point is it IS in fact wrong, immoral, and illegal.

As for Little Joe, he never did beat Casey or Matt in tournaments

Its one thing that he was cocky, but he never backed it up.

And you don't know either of us.
We've been together for a year and a half now and everyone knows of our age and how well we fit together. I'd appreciate you not passing judgement on me and my person relationships as all you have to go on is the law.
I understand that your maturity at age 14 and those of the 18 year olds you may have known at the time were quite different to where you could only admire such persons, but I'm quite different. All of my friends are atleast 2 years older than me.
So, before you go trying to make me feel like I'm disgusting and wrong or whatever other ways you'd like to put it, you should get to know me.

I've heard the rumor that girls are 2-3 years more mature than guys.. but that really is relative. Maybe on average that may be the case, but I know alot of immature girls and alot of mature guys. I know 16 year old guys that are more mature than 18 year old girls.

Anyways..

The only reason why age gaps are considered bad in younger relationships is that the younger one is still developing emotionally. If a 14 year old dates a 18 year old you have a case where the 18 year old is looking for a far more serious relationship than what the 12 year old should offer. This can cause many problems in the relationship or turn the 14 year old into a victim. This is only a speculation on my part.

Now when you have a 23 year old marry a 37 year old it's a little different (this is the case with my girlfriend's aunt and uncle). The 23 year old girl has matured emotionally, but there is another flaw in this relationship. The 37 year old would be wanting to settle down more and the 23 year old is wanting to start off. That is the only issue with large gaps with older couples.

Casey can be an ass at times (most of the time) but indyddr wouldn't be the same without him. Plus some of his posts are funny.

<SUMMARY>
14 year old with 18 year old = emotional growth gap.
23 year old with 37 year old = point in life gap.
Casey likes to cause trouble.

EDIT: a addendum on the 14 and 18 year old thing... It can work if the girl is 2 years ahead and the guy is 2 years behind.... but then you have an extremely immature guy.

no offense but I kinda ruled that out because if you were extremely mature you would've just blown casey off instead of letting him get to you.
