a little late on this but oh well. it bothers me ALOT that snake is in this game. me being a HUGE MG fan, thinks that konami has sunk to a new low. and like tea said, he doesnt fit AT ALL. THIS MAKES ME SO DAMN MAD!!!!!! AHHHH! FUCK!

The same company that helped in the making of Earthbound(Ness) also helped in the making of the Metal Gear series(Snake).
There's your history lesson for the day.
Besides, it's not like Snake is some lame sissy boy. Snake kicks ass.

If you looked at this from a newcomers perspective, almost nothing would seem to fit together...

And Ness is gone BUT Lucas from Earthbound 2 (aka Mother 3) will be on it.

Nobody's said that Ness won't be in it. If anything, that would be a pretty bad idea given the following he has developed in the series.
As for Sonic being confirmed in Brawl, this is probably the best move SEGA has done since they became a 3rd party developer. (The Nights sequel is a close 2nd.)

Did anyone else try to take advantage of the pricing mistake on Wal-Mart.com last week? SSBB for $19.82 was indeed too good to be true when they canceled all the orders.

Danc1005, you completely missed the point of my post concerning the delay of Smash Bros Brawl. While I can understand game delays, I find it completely rediculous that the Japanese version only got pushed back a week, whereas the US version got knocked a month back. Seriously, what is the justification for such an extended delay in this market?
