Here's the truth… Making money isn't about the latest, greatest Internet tool or trick that pops up every other month. It's about mastering the basics. Those new tools can help you enhance your existing business, but they won't lead to long-term success, month after month, year after year.
We live in a world with more than 6 BILLION people in it, so if you're business isn't making at least $10,000 per month by serving just a handful of them, then you've got some fundamental pieces wrong.

Re: [Grubb's] Random Thoughts of the Day
I was merging onto I-65 South on my commute today and ran into a sticky situation that I'd like people's opinion on:
Traffic was unusually heavy and I had just turned onto the on-ramp and started to speed up as you are expected to do - there were a handful of cars behind me doing the same. The right-lane was busy in such as way that I could not immediately get over. I could see a massive two-trailer FedEx semi-truck coming down the right-hand lane and he was clearly not slowing down nor was he able to get over into the middle lane, if I had merged he would have had to hit the brakes. Because of the cars behind me I wasn't really sure if I should have slowed down to get behind the truck or if I should have gunned it and tried to fit in a gap between the truck and the car in front of him. The truck was so effing big that I ended up running out of on-ramp and ended up driving on the shoulder for a bit.
Ultimately I slowed down and thankfully the car behind the semi let me over and no one was hurt or was in any huge amount of danger.
I guess the question is, if I'm about to run out of on-ramp and there's a big truck not letting me over, should I slow down to what will likely be a near stop and piss off the cars behind me or should I hop onto the shoulder and try to merge from there and hope there's no debris on the shoulder?

From the Indiana Driver's Manual:
Sounds like lawfully you'd wait for the big truck to go by. When I play this out in my head, I'd slow down and just risk pissing some people off. I'm also an angry person, so I'd probably catch up to the truck and call the "How's my driving" number. Clearly he wasn't making any sort of allowance for you entering.da book wrote: Good judgment and timing are needed to merge smoothly with fast-moving traffic on highways. When you enter an interstate on-ramp, stay to the right and increase your speed in the acceleration lane to allow your car to merge with traffic when your path is clear. Drivers already on the interstate should make allowances for those entering. However, drivers entering an interstate must yield the right-of-way to vehicles on the interstate.

Yeah I figured I played it wrong but I feel like if there's a shoulder then I should take it going 40 MPH instead of slowing down to 10 MPH and attempt to not slow down 60+ MPH traffic. I'll slow down next time - I was lucky there wasn't some bullshit on the shoulder of the road!
I don't think it's the FedEx's truck fault, traffic was heavy and I don't think he had room to get over since he was so God damn big.

I'm guessing most people have been run off the road by a truck at one point or another. It's not a fun experience. I imagine all truck drivers are driving with one hand and jerking off with the other at all times.
Re: [Grubb's] Random Thoughts of the Day
I read that as "jerking off with all the others." I was intrigued that you may be asserting truck drivers have more than two hands.

Delta Upsilon and Delta Chi are throwing a party together - dy/dx. Should I go? It sounds like a cool function.

A normality test:
+++ATH
If you are no longer connected to the internet, you need to apply more wax to your modem: it'll make it go faster.
If you find this funny, you're a nerd.
If neither of the above apply, you are normal. Congratulations.
