I want everyone to have a good footbaw time and the instant I bring in any sort of stakes the people who already don't give a shit will drop like flies on shit. Every year I feel like I'm struggling to get a solid even number of players. If people legit want to throw money down on this you know I'm good for it but I'll have a fuck of time getting money out of V or SDP since they live a good 500+ miles from Indiana, ya know what I'm saying?
Hence, "A competition of caring" - whoever cares the most will win! kekeke
Yes I do lose, god damn it

I was out of town and neglected to check my mans before I began my drive back to Indy.
But hey, did anyone watch the Colts game? I thought it was a good game and even when the Colts were up by 19 points I was sweating it because I know how God damn storybook it would be to have Peyton rally back 3 touchdowns to beat his old team.

...one of the few games I've seen recently that really lived up to its hype. It was about the best possible outcome for Indy (Colts win but Peyton looked pretty good), but they took a beating getting that win. Not only did they lose Reggie Wayne for the rest of the season, but a number of other players got beat up pretty badly it seems. Hopefully the bye will give them a chance to recover some.

Yeah losing Reggie Wayne is going to be real bad. T.Y. Hilton and Heyward-Bey have been serviceable but they are a long ways away from matching Reggie who has an awesome vertical to cover for some overthrows from Luck. We're unfortunately a little thin at WR and our playbook is complicated enough to where I don't think we can pick a dude off the street to give us some depth and have it work out. Two big drops on would-be touchdowns from the WRs on Sunday left me a little concerned. Richardson is going to have to step the fuck up otherwise he's going to be a solid bust IMO - he was impressive at Alabama but he also had 350+ pound linemen making running lanes against 290+ pound linemen and that shit just doesn't happen in the NFL.
On a lighter note our defense and special teams have been stellar this year and Mathis had one hell of a game on Sunday. At this point we are winning the AFC South as a possible #2 seed, we're finishing 12-4 on the year

If the Seahawks beat the quarterback-less Rams tonight by 12 or more points I will have hit a huge parlay and will win $650.
Needless to say I am rooting like a motherfucker for the Seahawks tonight.

It looks like I'm getting slaughtered this week. V's Suckers with Luck seem to have all the luck for sure.

Yeah I got crushed too

by my ladyfriend
Despite having Peyton Manning and the alleged best running back in the NFL (Adrian Peterson) my team seems to find a way to lose.
Speaking of which, did anyone watch the Cowboys / Lions game yesterday? See below:
To give this some context, the Cowboys were up by 6 points with a minute to go in the 4th quarter against a Lions team with no timeouts left. Matthew Stafford proceeds to throw three perfect passes to set up a the Lions on the goal-line and in the chaos of both teams lining up for what everyone expected to be a QB spike to stop the clock Stafford proceeds to QB sneak it across the goal-line for the game winning touchdown. Apparently no one on the Lions knew that he was going to go for a fake QB spike. Stafford has balls of steel because if he doesn't make it then the game is more or less going to be over.

I just looked again and I see that V's team had 3 players that didn't even play. Meanwhile, my team has 3 players that play tonight and I don't think it's mathematically possible for me to catch up--much less win. My team really self-destructed this week. I guess I should rename them Suckers with Suck.

Yeah holy shit her people way over performed and your mans did not do so hot. If Marshawn Lynch and Russel Wilson have huge games you can win but I have my doubts that that will happen no matter how God awful the Rams are.

Man, it's hard for me to feel for any professional athlete that makes millions of dollars but God damn did Robert Griffin III get dumped onto a team with a coach and owner that does not give a shit about the well-being of its players.
Just so you know that's his "good knee." The other knee was destroyed in last year's playoffs.

If the Bengals win by 4 or more points on Thursday I will hit a sweet $150 pay-out parlay. After what happened with Seattle I am totally ready to lose this bet in another heartbreaking fashion. Nothing turns a man into a pessimist faster than coming so close to a dream and having it crushed right before him.
