This made me start crying it was so funny. Paste the link to the OMG it's Kon thread. For me, Riot's cry face was the picture associated with IndyDDR.

Man, Kon is kind of a dick! I made a direct comment to him regarding his opinion on AAAs and we got no response.

If you shaved your head for real, then maybe. ;)

Also, congrats on becoming the (unofficial until Brian says otherwise) mascot of IndyDDR!

Maddox gets it.

tl;dr version
Being a nerd isn't graceful or glorious. It's a life born out of obsessive dedication to a craft, discipline or collecting some stupid shit that only you care about.
There is way too much counter-culture born of passing interest in a topic, and Facebook/Reddit isn't helping. It has never been easier for me to join a community that 'fucking loves' some topic that I don't know dick about. If that wasn't enough, I can conveniently buy a semi-witty t-shirt that's just geeky enough to distinguish me from the average person, but not too geeky as to appear unattractive.

Bro1: lol dude I get it!
Bro2: right? I fucking love science.
Bro3: what's a hadron?
Bro1/2: *Wikipedia on phone* particle physics duhhhhh.

Wearing a shirt to test people on what they know or don't know is something only a douchebag would do anyway.

When women stop boning dudes wearing hipster t-shirts then the hipster t-shirts will stop. This is why the petticoat, the top hat, the dickey, and coattails have gone out of style.

Until then we are just going to have to suffer with bros wearing t-shirts that reference pop science that they heard about on CNN.

Going back to old 2005 threads is really weird. This forum has changed so god damn much between then and now and it's weird to see the progression between everyone posting and then nobody posting.
